pit babe anon back to report on another fun thing happening in the Thai queer television world is that after Pit Babe was super popular and everything (they won several awards, including recently best production of a mlm series), now a bunch of shows have thrown in mpreg jokes and references lol. so far no others have made it explicitly canonically possible like Pit Babe did, but with all these shows nowadays referencing the concept of mpreg, it's only a matter of time. most people in the bl fandom agree that there's almost certainly going to be at least one show in 2025 that will get a guy knocked up, just cause it seems to be on everyone's mind lately

ALSO there's another live action omegaverse series in the making called Desire. the production is based in China, but due to censorship laws, they can't distribute the show domestically, so it'll only be broadcasted internationally, most likely through Thailand or Taiwan, since that's what other queer shows from China have done in the past. ANYWAYS the plot for that one is supposed to be about a playboy alpha who has had a bunch of omega lovers in the past but one day he's shocked to find out that HE'S pregnant. Turns out he slept with an Enigma, which are the one type of people capable of getting alphas pregnant. We'll see what actually makes it into the show (they're still in the early days of filming, and they would still need to find a way to distribute it internationally instead), but it seems like we might soon be getting another breedable alpha in a live action omegaverse, but this time they'll actually knock him up

hey this is the pit babe anon coming in with another update on the canon status of breedability of twinks in thai queer media. there was a show sunset x vibes which just recently alluded to mpreg being canon. it's based on a novel with mpreg in it and while the show didn't go the full route or outright state it, they did make it fairly obvious that that's what they were implying. if that was all, then it would hardly bear bringing up. but there's more to this!

you see, the leads in sunset x vibes have done another show together a couple years ago called big dragon that was ALSO based on an mpreg novel (tho they only had a brief joke about it in the show, opposed to making it actually canon). and like actor pairings are like a big deal in thailand, especially for queer shows, so the fact that these two's only main roles in shows together are both based on mpreg novels, with one making it canon, means that there's one guy (isbanky) who has gotten typecast in the funniest possible way lol

Good news for the breedable twinks community, Pit Babe, the live action omegaverse show, is getting a season 2, so another chance for canon mpreg. There's like three distinct opportunities for it. There's the main guy, the alpha who likes getting topped by other alphas, who in season 1 there was a whole evil scheme to get him pregnant and who gets off to being called mama by his boyfriend. There's one of the side couples who has the token omega (he's an omega in the novel even though the show seems allergic to bringing up the concept of omegas, though the official twitter did acknowledge them existing in the universe). And there's potentially another side couple where both of the guys can canonically get each other pregnant.

Also the first season was so successful that the production company also announced a bunch of other shows with the same actors (all the shows are queer but not omegaverse) (well they also said they weren't doing omegaverse with pit babe so there can always be surprise omegaverse in one of these shows tbh)
