Learning French With Harry Potter
Hey guys I just wanted to give you a little tip to help out with learning french. Everyone is different of course, so it may be possible this wonāt work for you.Ā Ā Ā I personally really like reading books while learning language. Overall interactive learning suits me the best, so reading, listening, singing and watching movies or youtube really help me to improve.Ā
So hereās my tip. I found this cool guy who does audio books on his youtube channel (in French of course). https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZnvT57weSF1EZtKrDayS7g/featuredĀ He has done Harry Potter Ć l'Ć©cole des sorciers, Harry Potter et la chambre des secrets and is currently working on Harry Potter et le prisonnier d'Azkaban. His voice is really nice and I really enjoy the way he reads and also does voices for the characters.
I love Harry Potter and while I was in France Iāve bought the first three books in French (but you can find the books online for free).Ā I started reading the first book today while listening to the audio. I find reading and listening the most effective. You see the words but also hear the proper way to pronounce everything.Ā
If you are a beginner it may be a little too fast for you, because the French like to speak really fast, but if you see yourself in the spectrum between B1 and B2 I think you should be able to keep up.Ā If not, just maybe try something easier, you can start with books for children.
I hope this will help you at least a little bit. <3

(day 2/100 of productivity ⢠spring term š·) Right, so I rewrote my lecture notes from the first stats meeting and then covered the next chapter as well. I also finished the stats homework, so now I can focus on my other three classes for the remainder of the week.

to summarise the notes:
korean sentence structure is subject + object + verb, the subject is the person committing the action, for example in the sentence āShe ate the soupā the āSheā is the subject as āSheā is the one eating the soup however an object is the thing being acted upon in this example is āthe soupā as it is the one being āateā where ate is the past tense verb.
the main rule in sentence structure is:
every korean sentence MUST end in either a verb or an adjective

my 2018 spread - i really like how it looks! iāve been trying to challenge myself in terms of artistic style with my bullet journal and stray away from things i usually do (e.g. calligraphy, certain colour schemes) as they can get repetitive and boring for me to always be making!

Spring Semester - March 29th
Productivity, youāre here? I finally got some. I fully did a paper due on Monday 9th (so early for me!), I finished my presentation/paper on Terry Crews, I looked for a subject for my class on evil women and finally found something worth working on (if youāre interested: Iām doing harpies), I planned my internship report (for an internship Iāll do in May??), and I somehow found a plan for my dissertation? Sort of.Ā Thatās actually quite productive coming from me. Also, Iām trying to motivate myself because Easter weekend doesnāt mean relaxing for me, it means more hours at work since itās a holiday and the shop is open.Ā

Anyone else a studying night owl? Itās hard to take clear pictures though I feel like Iām slowly starting to understand the notoriously difficult subject macroeconomics. I got 90% on my first quiz, so my hard work is paying off!
