ferrets are known for pooping in front of doors. this little trick is especially helpful for those who have free range ferrets. we bought a piece of ply wood (very cheap) and cut it to fit diaganolly in front of our door. this way the door can still open and close but won't be smearing poop everywhere. we also bought cat litter mats(water resistant and washable) and put them along the ply wood, that way when the ferrets do go to the bathroom it won't destroy the carpet. just high enough so they can escape and just short enough so it can be easily stepped over.

here's a picture of all five of my beautiful babies! yes i have 5!!! so ask me anything you want to know or are wondering, i'd be glad to help out fellow ferret lovers!!

MEET DOODLES! he is a year old, his bday is june 8th (same as ivory's). he is a brown and white blaze. he is incredibly good at balancing on his two back feet like a human. he loves humans, but he is extra cuddley and loving towards other ferrets. he is very lazy though, he is usually either eatting or laying down.

MEET IVORY! she is a year old, her bday is june 8th. she is a dark silver roan. she loves to climb anything and everything, and she's really good at it. she loves getting into trouble and knows that she shouldn't but does it anyway. she is the most cuddley, she'll sleeping in your arms until you put her down!

MEET ZOEY! she is half a year old her bday is march 14th. she is a very light roan panda, but i like to call her half albino due to her eyes which usually glow red and the fact that she is almost completely white. her nickname is snowy bear and i usually refer to her as “polar bear”. she is completely deaf, she has not lost her under coat which causes her to become extremely poofy (yes it is hilarious). she loves to play and sleeps much less than the other ferrets. she usually plays by herself but also loves to play very ruff with me. she likes to bite and then run away and hide until she can sneak up on you.

MEET EMERY! he is a deaf waardenburg blaze. he's turning one on sep 25th (that's 2 days from now!!) his look and personality are very unique. he is incredibly strong, but not always the brightest. being deaf makes him a little more aggressive so he needs to be watched a little bit more closely during play time. his favorite thing to do is snuggle. he also has a black dot in the middle of his forehead!

MEET AVERY. she just turned one on august 3rd. she is a silver roan, her coat gets almost all white in summer, and very black in the winter. she is a complete sweatheart, she is incredible smart, and knows her name. she also has a black dot on her nose!
