Happy Birthday Carol!! The first time I met you 3 things stand out: one you went on and on amount how lovely my cheekbones are (thanks!). How you noticed Michael had a different, but happier laugh when we were together. And as we were leaving you wasted no time asking I wanted children. I think this first memory is you in a nutshell: the sweetest person I have ever met, you know your son and you LOVE your grand babies. I have so many other amazing memories with you. I realize this might be the last birthday we get with you. But now let me shower you with compliments for once: thanks for loving your son. You and both know he is Michael and can be a pain in the ass. But you raised a good man who loves his wife and family. Thanks for the stories. I love hearing about your family, growing up in New York, moving to FL and IL. And finally, I will forever be grateful for your wisdom and or time spent together after Nick was born. You witnessed firsthand Nick's first crazy month. With the lack of sleep and 3 hour feeding/ pumping. This is not a fun birthday for you, but make buy you a big ole steak. You know how to work it don't go cheap. :) I hope you have a happy birthday Carol!
