Jentry Chau is a fun character because she lives with ghosts and a demon, hauled her great aunts corpse home from the woods, intentionally fucks around with shēn pearls that burrow into a person’s body like ticks, saw a demon’s armoire full of flesh bodysuits and called it a ‘skinterest board’, grows a third eye when she locks in, intentionally went to the psychological torture body horror underworld, fused with a venom symbiote with veneers, and has fully committed moguai murder. But she was too squeamish to do the frog dissection in class

kit turning violent on jentry after she rejected him isn't bad writing nor is it character ruining just because he's your favorite or you relate to his struggles with fitting in and wanting to be accepted. btw. it also didn't come out of nowhere either #inmyopinion because, if you forgot, he accepted cheng's deal to kill her? like hello? the seeds were there y'all were just ignoring them to focus on pretty boy with trauma. let me put this into perspective: he accepted to kill a teenage girl for his own selfish want. he felt entitled to her life, as if murdering someone would lead to him gaining humanity. and this never changed; when he became enamored with her, his entitlement only shifted from her life to being in a relationship with her

you have to keep in mind that kit is a deeply complex character who can have personality traits aside from misunderstood soft boy. i feel a huge portion of the fandom projected on him a little too hard and got mad when he snapped because "oh *i* would never do that" but i promise you guys that liking a character who ended up doing something bad isn't a reflection of your own character or morality

also like it truly says a lot about you if you see a girl being harassed and side with the dangerous boy. justifying and defending him and calling her a bitch for what? she hurt his feelings? well that's not nice of her i guess but tough shit lol move on. no reason to do all that. everyone get woker now i'm serious
