Last but not least, we have “Lost in the Night” by THBD, giving this soothing baseline that felt as if the night sky is holding my hand as I roam the forest. Was the mothman divine in nature? Mutation? We probably will never know.

why is mothman called mothman when most depictions and descriptions describe him as a a beautiful friendly owl-like man
Its actually pretty funny, but basically back in 1966 the Adam West Batman Television series was very popular, so much so that they came up with the name “Moth-man” as an reference to the show. There was no direct evidence of the creature being moth-like aside from maybe the large eyes, though that’s not exclusive to insects.
Though it does look cute when you make the creature more bug like, so thats my guess as to why the concept has been slapped onto the casual name.
