nothing is super fleshed out rn, but here’s what I have so far:

All dragons have a natural instinct to hoard, each with their own unique fascination. Nai straight up just loves collecting human bones. Vash is a little more complicated, he didn’t think he really had one until it slowly dawned on him. His thing is positive human emotion. It draws him near towns and settlements, in search of the Good Vibes tm. I guess he stores it in him heart.

The thing is, as Nai also points out, his hypnotic abilities could aid him in hoarding said emotions. He could simply just persuade people into it. But Vash really would rather not and wants it to be naturally occurring. But it does worry him after his brother gaslights him over it enough. Nai just kills his prey, Vash toys with it after all. What’s worse here? (Shut up nai)

As far as physical traits go, Vash can shape shift to something pretty human, all except his left arm, that is forever stuck draconic. The plant-like markings are what cause hypnosis to occur, and also would out him, so he binds it up and files his talons if he goes to human settlements. The markings are constantly swirling and changing around, so there’s no set pattern except in his eyes. His dragon shape can be a variety of sizes, and he will always revert to it when asleep. ( it’s just more comfy!)

Sometimes his hoarding instincts overpower him if the vibes get too tasty, and he has to fight urges to act on them. Fun stuff.

Not quite sure how he meets Meryl and Wolfwood yet, probs in some town, but they quickly become his favourite prey humans to hang around!
