at the end of the day, if a woman speaks out on her experience with rape or abuse and your first reaction is ‘theres two sides to every story’ ‘let’s wait for the evidence’ ‘I’ll believe it when I see proof’, or otherwise implying you think she’s lying, you’re a piece of shit. Idc. If your daughter came to you saying she’s been raped would you immediately be like ‘i wanna hear his side of the story first’? Like what the fuck. I’m not saying false accusations don’t happen but ultimately I’d rather support someone who turned out to be a liar than someone who turned out to be a rapist.
