Hello! I’m not too sure if you’ve been asked this already. But will you put the tenna rig up for sale?

I love animating with oonboom rigs and just wanted to know but if not it’s all good! Your stuff is awesome to look at :D

Good morning! (where I am)

So in terms on the Tenna Rig I won't be releasing the version I've been using anytime soon... not in a gate keepy way, more in a... it's just not very good...

Firstly, he has no handles except for one very badly drawn one so I could turn on and off certain drawings on his face.

And second, he just looks so grossly off model now by default I feel a deep need to scrap him and start all over again! For the last animation I did with him I spent a lot of time just popping him on model (i mean I tried he's not perfect).

Also, if I were to release him, I would release him FOR FREEEEE!!!! A few silly reasons why, the main one being I wanna encourage people to animate, make silly things, enjoy the act of animating as a whole. It's one of the reasons why I started working on my rig of Spamton, in the hopes of releasing it for free so people who are lucky to have the program can just play and see how fun it is! I'm also hoping to make some videos about my animation process and what I've learnt over the years, but er I'll see how confident I get to actually do that haha.

So long story short like, Tenna is not in a good state where I'd feel happy people using it. BUT! Once I feel The Spam Rig is in a good enough state, I plan to release it for free and perhaps with the knowledge I'll learn working on that, I'd probably remake a better Tenna rig for public use. Again FOR FREEEE!!!

When you hear audio of Mr Tenna talking from the new FanGamer ad, and you have a rig already somewhat made... Before you know it you've talked yourself into animating him before you even have an idea of what you want him to do!

Small ramble (nothing fancy) under the cut...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I had a lot of fun doing this, although trying to do it while also being really sick was dumb as hell. Also I'm so glad I just kept it simple in the end. I decided a nice Earthbound Grid BG is enough. Before I was trying to capture game footage, trying to splice it in, all this stuff... Make it look more like an actual ad.

But at my core I just wanted to animate Tenna acting, that's the fun part after all. Glad I kept it simple. Now I can breath for a bit... Until the next stupid idea pushes me out of bed.

Also on the bright side, my cold is starting to get better. Hooray!
