What a good bike for me.Want on and off road,that's not very expensive,and has a good history of being durable

Hey friedfritter!  Not sure what your price range is or what size bike you are looking for, but I would recommend a Honda XR400.  They are relatively cheap, the motors are bulletproof, and parts are cheap and easy to get (some XR250 and XR600 parts swap).  They were originally sold as ORV vehicles so you may need to transfer the title to a street vehicle, or even better, find one that already has been transferred (also, laws very by state for this so do your research).  Another good option would be a KLR600 or KLR650.  They made these bikes for a long time, so parts are really easy to get and they are very durable (the military even used them).  I have to admit that I don't care for the styling of ether the XRs or KLRs, but they are great bikes that won't let you down and the smile per dollar for an on/off road bike is going to be hard to beat!  If you have a little extra money to spend look for a KLX450R.  I have one and absolutely love it!  They are hard to come by because they only made them for 2 years and will probably be near double the cost of a cheaper XR or KLR.  I have a set of dirt tires and 17'' supermoto street tires and it is a blast to ride both on and off road!  Feel free to ask more questions and let me know if you find anything!
