“Close some doors today. Not because of pride, incapacity, or arrogance, but simply because they lead you nowhere.”

October 2018 - A west-facing view and a north-facing panorama from my lunch spot at the summit of Beckler Peak.
Looking out west, you can see two peaks that I photographed the very same day I started this blog: Mount Index on the far left in the distance, and pointy Gunn Peak to the right of that foreground rock slope.
Looking toward the North Cascades, among all those peaks that are yet unknown to me, two of them out there are on the list of active volcanoes in Washington state. Glacier Peak can be found by looking upward from the sunlit valley, while Mount Baker is a white snow-capped cone I’ll let you find by tracing the horizon!
