This is what the pandemic looks like in my state at the moment. I made a public pledge not to go back to my usual out and about-ness until the meter is in the low risk category, but this is going to be fucking hard.

Today, I kept having the urge to online shop. That is what quarantine is doing to me. I have never online shopped so much before in my life. And most of this junk is taking forever to get here! There are so many other things I could be doing with my time rather than sitting at my computer scrolling online stores and adding things to my cart that I have no intention of purchasing, because I have no money. Like, wtf am I doing? I shouldn’t beat myself up about it though. Today was the first day in over a week that I actually had the motivation to get some work done, so that is an accomplishment. I suppose we’ll see what the evening brings.

I spent my afternoon drafting a PowerPoint all about coffee cupping. I’ll be teaching this class this fall (hopefully), and I think it is going to be great!
