With the Unversed having been unleashed, it was time to have a little fun of his own. Pushing his hand in front of him, he sent a massive fireball into the closet tower. The explosion was like music to his ears. Watching all the smoke rise into the sky as the tower burned was a beautiful sight. And he was just getting started.
More guards began to emerge from the castle as expected. He thought about summoning more Floods, but why should the Unversed have all the fun? No. Now it would truly be time for him to enter the fray, rather than send his own to do battle. He wanted the survivors to remember his face and the destruction he caused.
He locked eyes with a guard and rushed him, not brandishing the X-blade just yet. Both Ventus and Vanitas had some training in hand to hand combat, and now it was time to put those skills to the test. The guard swung his sword down, but he caught it with his hands. The poor guard could only watch in horror as the blade of his sword was bent and crushed to pieces by the blond. He grabbed him by the throat and hoisted him into the air with one hand. He watched the guard struggle for breath, trying to get the hand off of his throat. But it was too late. Eventually the guard became still and lifeless, and was dropped on the ground without a care.
Two soldiers saw this and rushed at him, their spears pointed directly at him. He took this as an opportunity to test out some more of his magic. He pushed a hand out in front of him and cast Gravity. This took both opponents off their feet and into the air. He smirked at their shock as they tried to get back down. With the other hand, he cast Thundaga, sending a powerful wave of lightning at both of them. Their screams filled the air as the spell tore through their bodies until they, like the guard before them, had fallen. Their lifeless bodies hit the ground with a thud with small billows of smoke rising into the air from where the lightning singed them most.
He looked up in time to see his target emerge: The mouse king. A smirk formed on his lips. He could only wonder what was going through his mind. Was it shock to see him alive and well? Fear perhaps, at the destruction he caused in such little time? Or was it anger, for not finishing off the being the first time?
Regardless, he felt it was time to give the mouse a true taste of his skill. The X-blade came into his hand with a bright flash. He charged at any close soldiers, cutting them all down with ease. He was ruthless, but also made sure to take his time in the act. He wanted the mouse to see exactly what he was capable of, and what he would soon have to face.
He waved a hand forward, deciding to try a spell he had only seen in Vanitas’ memories: Comet. He watched with joy as the huge rocks fell from the sky, devastating the castle. He could hear screams from those who tried to get away. He hoped for their sake that none of them would come his way. He would make an example out of them in front of their King.
But now his attention turned to the mouse himself. It was clear that the soldiers could not match his skill or power. How many more would have to fall before they faced each other yet again. He beckoned the King to face him and raised the X-blade, preparing to pick up where they left off.
Oh, to see such destruction upon his beloved castle! The Little Mouse King was shocked and appalled at such atrocities, seeing with his own eyes as the invader swept his guards away with a powerful blow of his blade. He had been too far to stop him, and helpless to protect his soldiers. Shock turned to anger, and the Little Mouse King shook with righteous fury before summoning his trusted Star Seeker.
‵‵I don’t know how you survived, but I won’t letcha get away again!’’ He declared, and he pointed his keyblade at his opponent. ‵‵Light!’’ He called, as he shot three shining pearls at his opponent.
