- it’s difficult to admit and it’s a bit of an oxymoron  but this handsome guy in French Police Nationale uniform was defender of gay right, himself gay and in a partnership as the NYT article explains in the link. He was shot dead last night on the Champs Élysées by an islamist terrorist. I feel very sorry for his partner.
