My name is Enas Hajjo. I am 30 years old, from Gaza. I am a wife, and the mother of a little girl.
Our beautiful home،،the place where we dreamed, laughed, and built our lives،،was destroyed during the war. Nothing is left. Every memory we had was buried beneath the rubble.
Since then, we have been trying to survive in circumstances no family should ever have to face.
Then another nightmare began.
In the middle of the war, my husband, Ahmed, became seriously ill. After many tests, the doctors told us the heartbreaking truth, he has lung cancer.
Today, Ahmed is lying in a hospital bed, fighting for his life. The doctors say he must travel outside Gaza as soon as possible to receive treatment. Without it, we could lose him at any moment.
The cost of his treatment is far beyond anything we could ever afford.
At the same time, I am suffering from severe malnutrition because of the famine. Our bodies are growing weaker every day.
Now we live inside a small tent beneath the burning sun.
Every night, I watch my little daughter fall asleep, and my heart breaks. Rats and insects crawl over her tiny body while she sleeps. I try to protect her, but I cannot protect her from everything.
Can you imagine watching your child live like this?
Can you imagine not knowing whether your husband will still be alive tomorrow?
My daughter is too young to understand cancer.
She only knows that she doesn't want to lose her daddy.
And I don't want to lose my husband.

It's Juneteenth, I'm a Black Texan, descendant of enslaved Black Texans. Texas is the only state that fought two different wars to protect slavery and chattel slavery ended the last for it. Juneteenth to me is to celebrate that part of overt white supremacy coming to an end, but it was not the end of white supremacy. It did not stop, with the lynching, the police violence, the redlining, the environmental racism, the segregation. Juneteenth represents a good win aganist the fight against white supremacy, but it's not over.
And for this Juneteenth, I ask for help for my friends that are the victims of this same US white supremacy. Not just today, but everyday Gazans deserve any type of help that you can give them. The technology that is used to segregate and attack and police and destroy Palestinians is the same technology that is sold to Texas to be used for the border patrol and to harass and control immigrants and border communities. This is one, connected fight aganist white supremacy and US control and destruction of Black and Brown bodies. A Black infant was just murdered by Mississippi Police.
The news won't say the word INFANT, but I will. Kohen Kartier Wiley was 1 year old.

The following is from Mississippi Free Press (links preserved; emphasis mine):
The Mississippi Department of Public Safety released a statement on June 14, alleging that the shooting happened in response to one of two subjects driving “in the direction of” officers. A clip of cellphone video obtained by Fox 13 Memphis shows a car driving away from officers, but it does not appear to show the shooting itself. A photo of the car shows multiple bullet holes in the windshield, including a bullet hole on the passenger side of the front windshield.
Notably, the DPS statement appears to acknowledge that police witnessed the presence of Kohen Wiley prior to the individuals entering their vehicle, and before the officer discharged the weapon. The officer has not been identified.
“Law enforcement officers responded to a shoplifting call at Walmart on U.S. 51. Upon arrival, officers encountered two subjects and a juvenile child fleeing from the store into a vehicle. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver drove in the direction of the officers, almost striking one,” the statement read in part. “An officer then discharged their weapon and the vehicle fled the scene. The subjects arrived at a local hospital where one juvenile child in the vehicle was pronounced deceased, and another subject had critical injuries. No law enforcement officers received any serious physical injury.”
Members of Kohen Wiley’s family have denied that any shoplifting took place. WREG reported that, before the shooting, a witness saw two women exit the store: one carrying a single box of diapers, and one carrying the infant child. Family told WREG that Kohen’s mother was riding in the passenger seat holding the child when the officer shot him and that the aunt, who was driving, was in critical condition. Another witness told the news station that she saw the car driving away with police officers chasing after it on foot just before hearing gunshots. At present, no arrests have been announced in the incident.
“Senatobia Police Department get away with too much stuff,” WREGH reported Kohen’s great-grandmother Carolyn Stokes, as saying. “I hear about it all the time. It’s in the news all the time. Y’all probably down here all the time, recording this stuff, but it’s just too much.”
Members of the community plan to gather at Senatobia City Hall at 5 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon to call for accountability for Kohen Wiley’s killing.
So let me get this right: It's legal to attempt to murder two Black women for bringing their child to the store for a diaper run. It's legal to attempt to murder two Black women for trying to flee your gestapo as you harass and threaten them for a crime they did not do.
I hope the citizens of Senatobia raise holy hell for this.

I pleaded and begged for help repeatedly, but I received only silence. My child is growing weaker every day due to anemia and malnutrition. If my child is taken from me… will you remember that I was pleading here to save him?
My child desperately needs milk, diapers, and food. He is weak, and malnutrition is weakening him day by day.

...but not only that. Hashem, who is the recipient of this campaign, is raising funds and trying to support his family of eight. They're living in a tent, after being displaced five times by the Israeli army. Samar (Hashem's wife) gave birth to their child, Omar, prematurely, and are struggling to keep him alive and healthy.
Diapers are expensive, but they're still so low quality that they cause rashes. Omar is currently battling pneumonia.
Hashem needs to evacuate his family- and it's 5k per adult, and 2k for a child. They need roughly twelve-thousand, five hundred to escape.
