For all we know the WW2 German Dog Tags could be a trophy off of an enemy he killed. I could see Karl enjoying killing shitty Nazis.

It also could have belonged to another family member of his.

As far as we know the Lords have never left the village. And they've been around Miranda for ages.

And I highly doubt that the game creators would haphazardly toss in a charismatic attractive Nazi character like that.

Just because sounds like a duck doesn't mean it is a duck.

But hey if the creators come right out and state that, Yes he was a Nazi, then I will absolutely stop simping for this man.

Reminder to everyone getting in on the Heisenberg discussion that he was abducted by Miranda as a child, and lived under her thumb ever since. Miranda also carefully monitored the information that went in and out of the village.

Not only that, but it's stated in the wiki that Heisenberg rarely left the factory. It's extremely unlikely that he would even know what a Nazi is, let alone become one. I think the most logical assumption about his dog tags is that a German soldier wandered into the village one day, and Heisenberg killed him and took them as a trophy.

It would be PR suicide (especially in our current world climate) for Capcom to create a charming and charismatic Nazi character. I doubt they would do that, although companies have surprised me with their tone-deafness in the past, so who knows? If I turn out to be wrong, I'll eat my words.

My point is, the dog tags probably don't mean a whole lot, unless Capcom ever says otherwise.

Ok, about the Karl Heisenberg being a Nazi thing...

I don’t believe he’s a Nazi. I mean how?

I think he and the other lords was taken away by Miranda when they where still child’s, so I think he didn’t had a chance to be a part of the WW2 because he wasn’t allowed to leave the village, plus I think RE8 plays 2020 so he has to be freaking old and just because he has a German name he isn’t a nazi, this has to mean that I’m also have to be a nazi because I’m German and have a German name, right??

I think he found the Dog Tag maybe somewhere in the trash and thought it was cool or he found it on a villager or a German soldier that was in the village or whatever, second why the hell would a game put nazis in it??? I mean for real guys :/

And even tho, that could even a Romania Dog Tag because they look very similar.

And plus, think about all the other scientists in RE, they made way more worse things and more cruel experiments on humans and nobody says anything, and there’s just a Character with a Dog Tag and a German name and everybody’s like “HE’S A NAZI”

I just hate people that try to ruin games and characters for people...
