⚠️ Saezuru Chapter 66 spoilers ⚠️ (😭🥺😭♥️)

The opening pages are the conversation between Amou and Tsunakawa that was previewed officially.

Tsunakawa reminds Amou:

"You said that guy has nowhere to go back to, right?"

Amou apologizes.

Tsunakawa responds sarcastically:

 "Funny. Even the guy himself isn't apologizing."

Amou says he had hoped that during the past four years Doumeki would learn things like obligation and gratitude.

Tsunakawa replies:

 "Maybe he'll understand from here on."

Then Tsunakawa says:

 "Not that I'm bragging, but I've never devoted myself to another person. I can't understand it, and I don't want to."

Amou answers:

 "That probably has something to do with your upbringing."

Tsunakawa:

"But you understand it, don't you? That's why you brought him here."

A flashback panel shows a young Amou looking slightly embarrassed while Misumi rests a hand on his head.

Amou reveals that bringing Doumeki to Tsunakawa was a personal favor he asked of him, and Tsunakawa only accepted it because they were old acquaintances.

As Amou leaves, he tells Tsunakawa:

 "You can count it as a debt I owe you."

But once in the car he thinks:

 "He's absolutely going to make me pay him back later."

Then they arrive at their destination.

Yashiro and Nanahara

Back at the office.

Yashiro returns visibly irritated.

Nanahara approaches him.

While covering part of his face with one hand, Yashiro complains that they still haven't found Kai's hideout.

Nanahara asks:

"Were you maybe going to see Doumeki?"

Yashiro immediately shoots him a sharp look, throws an ashtray at his head, and snaps:

"Don't stick your nose into this."

Nanahara pushes back.

He says:

Ever since Doumeki appeared, Yashiro has been acting strange.

Maybe Doumeki said something to him.

He's not stupid; he can put things together.

He was the last person who spoke to Doumeki four years ago.

Then Nanahara reveals:

"Back then, he said that if he wasn't in this world anymore, he'd no longer have any connection to you."

At first Nanahara thought Doumeki had simply changed after joining the Sakura family.

But now he realizes:

"That wasn't it. It was because of that, wasn't it?"

Yashiro tries to brush it off:

"Who knows? It has nothing to do with me."

Nanahara continues:

"Then why are you so miserable?"

Yashiro:

"I'm just tired. What, are you trying to tell me what to do now?"

Nanahara says he isn't.

He only thinks that maybe Doumeki no longer has anywhere he belongs.

Maybe someone should help him.

Yashiro cuts him off:

"Nobody can help him."

Then Yashiro says:

"Ignoring Tsunakawa's pride, pretending I forgot him, throwing him away just so he could stay in the same world as me... how is that any different from obsession?"

At that moment,

Amou appears.

Amou and Yashiro

The two talk at a café.

The dialogue isn't shown, but Amou apparently explains how Doumeki came to be under Tsunakawa's care.

Yashiro says he understands now, though he's genuinely surprised.

Then he asks Amou:

"Why did you go so far as to help Doumeki behind Misumi's back?"

Amou begins talking about his relationship with Misumi.

He explains:

Misumi married Amou's mother.

They were never legally adopted.

Misumi offered to pay his living expenses and tuition, but Amou refused and graduated university through his own efforts.

It was at university that he met Tsunakawa.

Amou says he always admired Misumi.

Even though he understood why Misumi never adopted him, he still wanted to become family.

He wanted to exist in the same world as him.

So instead of becoming a yakuza, he became Misumi's secretary. (After Misumi finally gave in.)

Amou says:

"I wanted to be someone like a son to him... the way you are."

Yashiro immediately replies:

"People don't sleep with their sons."

Then Amou asks the crucial question:

"Four years ago, when you abandoned Doumeki... was it for his sake? Or for your own?"

Yashiro freezes in shock.

Seeing his reaction, Amou stands up and leaves.

Beside Yashiro's seat, rain has begun to strike the window.

Yashiro gets a phone call.

Someone asks:

"Where are you right now?"

Heavy rain is falling.

Yashiro walks through it without an umbrella.

A car suddenly stops beside him.

Then, 

"Don't move. Do you know how long I've been looking for you?"

It's Kamiya.

Kamiya says:

"I don't understand what's so great about you."

"That stubborn bastard is completely wrapped around your finger. Either you're incredible in bed, or you're unbelievably compatible."

"Either way, only a weirdo would go this far."

Yashiro keeps walking.

Kamiya continues:

"You must really be worth enough to throw a man's whole life into chaos."

Still no reaction.

Finally Kamiya clicks his tongue.

"Say something, damn it. You're disgusting."

Then he throws a hotel key at Yashiro's back.

Yashiro stops and glances over his shoulder.

Kamiya says:

"'His reason for living'... that's what you are."

"Aren't you embarrassed?"

Then:

"The night after tomorrow, Kai gets killed. After serving prison time for it, he'll be expelled from the organization."

"If he only comes to his senses when he's an old man, he'll be completely screwed."

Then Kamiya drives away.

Yashiro stands there.

The hotel key lies on the wet ground.

He closes his eyes and looks up at the rainy sky.

The Hotel

The scene shifts.

Doumeki is in the hotel room handling his gun.

The doorbell rings.

He opens the door.

Standing there is Yashiro, soaked by the rain.

Doumeki is stunned.

Without saying a word, Yashiro places a hand against his face and leans in himself.

Then... 

He kisses him (❗❗❗❗❗) 

Doumeki's eyes remain open in shock.

Yashiro closes his eyes and kisses him desperately, completely absorbed in it.

They move inside the room.

Their lips part once.

They stare at each other.

Then, 

Doumeki firmly wraps his arms around Yashiro.

Yashiro loops both arms around Doumeki's neck.

And they kiss again.

I thought we'd be heading back to hell given the circumstances, but we'll be taken to heaven thanks to the kiss that Yashiro—I repeat, Yashiro—gives to Doumeki. I eagerly await the images and the translation for greater enjoyment.

Saezuru tori wa habatakanai Chapter 66 Spoilers:

Yoneda is absolutely unstoppable. We already have the new previews for the latest Saezuru chapter, which is drawing closer and closer to the climax of this final arc. This time, there are two specific details that caught my attention that I just couldn't leave unaddressed.

The Parallelism of the Snow

First of all, the cover image shows Doumeki and Yashiro under a snowfall—a clear parallel to the very beginning of Doumeki’s story within the Sakuraika group. It is snowing in the exact same way it did the day Amou handed him over to Tsunakawa. It seems this crucial part of the story, which began on a snowy day, is coming full circle and closing under the exact same weather.

Two Sides of the Same Coin

This brings me to the second preview image: Amou requests a meeting with Tsuna to apologize. While the surface-level reasons are clear, there is a much deeper history between these two characters.

Amou and Tsunakawa were university classmates, meaning they have known each other for many years. In the Saezuru universe, they represent two sides of the same coin:

Tsunakawa, on one hand, is a successor by inheritance.

Amou, on the other, is Misumi’s illegitimate son, who became a boss through pure meritocracy and power.

Consequently, even though they have only met a handful of times throughout the story, they show an incredibly close bond through the sheer weight of the favors they dare to ask of and grant each other.

Chapter 37 Chapter 66

Loyalty and Favors Within the Yakuza

Back in chapter 30, Amou asks Tsunakawa to talk to the other bosses so they won't accept Hirata into any Sakuraika subgroups, and Tsunakawa agrees. Their conversation is deeply fascinating because Tsunakawa questions whether it wouldn't be easier to just put out a formal notice that Hirata is exiled, ensuring no one takes him in. That’s when Tsunakawa talks about loyalty and drops a heavy line: "A man without a group is dead." Pushing someone to those extremes is no small decision.

Against all odds, many years later, Amou turns to Tsuna for help once again—this time to take in Doumeki. Going completely against his own convictions of not accepting the "leftovers" of other clans, Tsunakawa complies. This is exactly why Amou goes to apologize to him: he knows perfectly well that Tsunakawa made a massive exception solely out of that surreal friendship they share.

The Illusion of Freedom

Furthermore, I love how Yoneda always positions them in spaces that are simultaneously vast yet enclosed: golf courses and fishing ponds. These are artificial, man-made environments that, despite seeming immense, are completely fenced in. It captures the very essence of Saezuru: even if you feel free, the yakuza remains your prison. Perhaps that’s why they look for these specific settings for their private meetings; it grants them a subtle illusion of freedom that, due to the realities of the mafia world, can never truly be real.

¡¡¡Saezuru Chapter 65 Spoilers!!!

We finally have news regarding the recently released Chapter 65! The chapter focuses solely on the aftermath of Doumeki’s declaration regarding his true feelings for Yashiro. I suspected as much, but I didn't expect Doumeki to be so arrogant. As my friends say, Darkmeki has returned!

Sakura-ikka Headquarters

Doumeki addresses Tsunakawa-san.

Tsunakawa: "Aren't you going to kneel? Like you did four years ago."

Doumeki: "...I won't."

The subordinates force Doumeki’s head to the floor, and Tsunakawa kicks him in the face. He brings up the fact that he knows Doumeki was previously with Yashiro.

Tsunakawa: "I’m surprised you were able to stay here."

Doumeki: "I am grateful for you taking me in..."

Tsunakawa: "Just for that? Only because I took you in?"

Doumeki’s face is crushed against the ground...

Tsunakawa begins talking about how Doumeki is an ex-cop with a mother and sister, and how he could have lived as a civilian even after getting out of prison. The conversation shifts to why he became a yakuza... and that is when we see the panel of Doumeki that the official Saezuru account teased!

The Confrontation

Tsunakawa: "What is Yashiro to you?"

Doumeki: "He is my reason for living."

Doumeki: "I protected him because he is someone important to me."

After Tsunakawa asks him, "Why don't you hesitate even a little?", Doumeki is brutally beaten by Ren-san and the other subordinates.

Tsunakawa has told Doumeki that he must kill Kai and serve time in prison for his crime; once he is released, he will be officially expelled from the group. I'm not sure if that's a high or low price to pay for his betrayal…

In the next chapter, it will be Yashiro's turn; we will see what price he has to pay for protecting Doumeki. He will likely want to eliminate Kai before Doumeki does, but with Yoneda-sensei, nothing is ever easy. We will have to wait another two months to find out what strategies he will take.

Hahaha, Yashiro must be bored with all these entanglements of groups and men; ultimately, he would just like to be in Doumeki's arms for eternity. Everything else is unnecessary.

Predictions and Analysis for the Upcoming Chapter 65 of Saezuru...

Doumeki’s Fate and Yashiro’s Sacrifice

I have a theory about what should happen in this chapter 65. As we’ve seen, both protagonists are on the verge of facing their own realities: Doumeki must finally reveal his true feelings to Tsunakawa (who deserves that honesty after everything he has done for him), while Doumeki’s monologue has resonated so deeply with Yashiro that he finally seems ready to take action.

The Paradox of Expulsion

From a yakuza narrative logic, the most likely outcome is that Doumeki will be expelled from Sakuraika, leaving him adrift. Historically, when a member is repudiated, no allied group should take him in as a matter of honor. However, a precedent already exists: the exception Tsunakawa made when Amou delivered Doumeki to him on that winter night.

Yashiro’s Move and Misumi’s Price

To protect Doumeki, Yashiro must play his cards with precision. For years, he has dodged Misumi’s offer to lead his own group, but I believe this is his last option to create a "safe" haven where he can take Doumeki in. Nonetheless, the danger is latent: Misumi despises Doumeki, so the cost of this request will be incredibly high.

The Tragic Parallel: In the past, Yashiro gave up his freedom to save Kageyama, his youth love. The big question now is: what will he be willing to sacrifice today to save his true love, Doumeki?

We are reaching the decisive moments of this story. We must prepare ourselves for whatever comes in this yakuza war, where our protagonists will have to dodge much more than just bullets.

What is happening? I’m in shock. In the previous spoiler we were talking about where Yoneda-sensei might take us, lol, but is she really leading us into a rose garden?

Okay, okay, okay… I’m dying of happiness seeing them so tender and affectionate, even dressed so casually. I think the only time we’ve ever seen them like this was in the chapter set in Yashiro’s apartment: “Does the Tora suit me?”

Forgive me for being suspicious, but my friends and I always say that whenever Yoneda-sensei gets affectionate, after giving us a slap of happiness, she wakes us up with a painfully angsty chapter, lol. #Yonedasado

Well, if this really is a rose garden, it’s not that strange to suffer a little too… after all, roses have thorns. And since this story thrives on parallels, it isn’t surprising either (lol, this is me trying to calm myself down) that once again we’ve reached the moment of confessions, just like in the previous arc.

The preview for the upcoming chapter 64 of Saezuru has surfaced early, and everyone is going crazy. The dialogue we see suggests that Doumeki is finally confessing his feelings (internal screams).

I have a few things to comment on:

1. Yashiro took off his jacket and rolled up his shirt sleeves. That means he’s been looking after Doumeki. (more hysterical screams).

2. Doumeki is feeling much better now, enough to kneel down, corner Yashiro, and drop the love bomb on him.

3. Can you see the shōjo dots floating in the air? It feels like Doumeki’s confession has turned into cherry blossom petals drifting toward Yashiro. (more and more screams of a crazy bitch).

Now for the sad part. I’m afraid that Yashiro will sabotage himself yet again and fail to understand that what Doumeki is telling him is pure love. As I always say, we’ll see where Yoneda-sensei takes us. We propose, and she, as the author, decides.

• Kageyama comments that Ren is rough to make an injured man work.

• Flashback: Ren told Doumeki, “When Oyaji comes back, your punishment will be decided. Until then, Kamiya will watch you. You’ll be working too.”

• Back in the car: Kamiya says, “How do you feel? You were trusted by the boss, and now your credibility’s ruined. Could even be grounds for expulsion, you know!”

• Doumeki reacts calmly, but feels like he’s forcing it.

• Doumeki suddenly asks Kamiya what his goals are.

• Kamiya: “I don’t really have any ‘goal.’ I just wanna do something big someday.”

Okuyama & Kai (in a building)

• Okuyama confronts Kai

•Okuyama suggests Kai envied Tsunakawa because they were both yakuza heirs but had different outcomes.

• Kai snaps → reaction shows Okuyama hit the mark.

• Okuyama: “If you’re yakuza, use your head.”

• Kai complains: “I was forced into the young-head role, branded a traitor, kicked out, finally got my own group—and now I’m supposed to die for it? How is that fair?”

• Okuyama dismisses him: “Such childish talk. If you can’t take responsibility, back out now. Otherwise, you’re expelled.” Leaves the room.

• Implied Okuyama’s harshness is also a form of mercy.

• Outside the building, Kamiya asks Doumeki what they should do, since Kai must still be inside.

• Doumeki is shown leaning his head against the car window, eyes closed, looking pained.

No Yashiro this chapter 😭 Damn Kamiya for interrupting themm 😭😭

This chapter feels like everything is shifting into place for the climax, the gears are in place. I just hope Doumeki has put it together about Yashiro's eye, he already suspects it, Kageyama's words are just confirmation. Also my heart broke when I understood that Doumeki is telling himself Yashiro’s care for him=Yashiro’s care for Nanahara=general care, that Yashiro sees and saw him as just a subordinate/former subordinate. But beneath that, the fact that he brings it up shows he does recognize there’s a difference between how both are treated by Yashiro, and I hope it gnaws at him till he puts it all together.

For the next chapter in November I’m terrified of what Doumeki’s punishment might be and even more of the possibility that, if it’s severe, Yashiro might just turn the blade inward, sacrificing himself in some desperate attempt to shield Doumeki. The idea that Yashiro might hurt himself just to preserve him is going to haunt me till chapter 63. But that might also be the final catalyst for Doumeki to finally come to terms with and have the courage to believe his place in Yashiro's heart.

We already have the second spoiler for Saezuru and it's titled something like: Intertwining duty and feelings. It's interesting because there are a few lines under the title that explain the texture of this words. Doumeki also returns to the black tie, unlike the cover, and it finally seems as if Doumeki is in the shade of a protective tree... Yashiro, Tsunakawa? We'll see. With these advances, I think the moment of truth has arrived for Doumeki. Being part of Sakuraika was only a means to an end, being in Yashiro's world. Now he travels with Kamiya, I suppose to define his future... By the way, although Kageyama is not a saint of my devotion, I appreciate his infinite concern for Doumeki's health, which is what they talk about in these scenes.
