"What are you doing here? You normally only visit me during the summer…"
"Consider this my Christmas gift."
"Hi."
"Ello."
"Slow?" He huffed, stopping just as he was waist deep in in the water. "I’m not slow — but some of us don’t have four legs.” He stuck out his tongue out at him, rather childishly before he submerged himself beneath the water.
He laughed at him, rolling his eyes. "Oh the excuses-!" He shouted over the sounds of the waves and the splashing of water they were in. Tristan continued to swim about them, the water a nice contrast to the heat on his skin he always had.
Tell me a piece of your history / that you’re proud to call your own / Speak in words you picked up / as you walked through life alone.
"Alright, alright!" He laughed, stripping down to his undergarments, casting his clothing carelessly to the sands of the beach. "I know, I’m coming." He jogged towards the wolf, kicking up sand in his wake.
Tristan was internally smiling quite the wolfish grin. Fur being drenched in the water as he trotted into the water. Letting the ocean embody him. He allowed himself to submerge below the surface, shifting below with ease as it had become more able to endure the change as the years progressed. When his head resurfaced, blue human eyes were looking at Andres. "You're getting slow you know, my prince."
He watched the canine’s movements with a bit of amusement, tilting his head as he rose, trotting off towards the water. The prince stood then, arching his arms above his head and wincing slightly as it stirred a bit of pain to his wounds — nothing the sea couldn’t heal. “Fancy a swim, do you?”
After the barks came a howl of excitement from the wolf. Running swiftly towards where the water met the sand, trotting about as he waited from Andres to join him.
Andres couldn’t help the full smile that now formed on his lips, as he watched the wolf lavish attention on him. He sighed lightly, resting against him in full as he drew circles absently in the sand.
Tristan continued to lick at Andres' wounds for about several moments longer, within that time frame having moved to licking the spots of his neck and along his clavicle; any part of him that was visible. The wolf's own way of being affectionate with his loved ones. Tristan's laps at Andres' skin came to an end, and the wolf stood upon all fours then, a loud bark emitting as he looked to the water of the beach.
It was always easy to tell when Tristan approached — he had spent his life around felines, and their presence was so different. Though the wolf brought a small smile to his face, despite his current frustration, and he reached down to ruffle his fur as he rubbed against him.
A low rumble deep in the wolf's chest reverberated through him when Andres's fingers rubbed along his fur. Finding the touch comforting and soothing no matter what was going on. Another whine left the wolf before his tongue was licking at his wounds, so to speak.
