I have conflicting feelings about Caroline, for a few reasons

She’s nice to me, the farmer, the player, you know

But the way she talks and treats Abigail is like :///// YOU KNOW LIKE “oh have you met my daughter she’s the pale one hahaha she never leaves her room” PARENTS LIKE THAT YOU KNOW, but she’s got a little redemption in that one heart event where she apologized for being so bossy / controlling. And I would Like To Believe That in our little valley of niceness that this is a real turn of character (unlike real parents who just go back to being Like That again!) and she kinda lays off on being so judgemental of Abby’s style

NOW I KNOW WHAT YOURE THINKING, “BUT TANDY! WHAT ABOUT PIERRE? ISNT HE LIKE THAT TOO!” There’s no real evidence other than him telling Abigail to get out of the graveyard and help with supper and Abby being like “you’re only saying that because I’m a GIRL ISNT IT?” I don’t think that Caroline and Pierre’s mindsets are THAT far back big I can definitely see Pierre thinking that girls shouldn’t be playing around in graveyards or caves

Bottom of the line, I like the whole fam, I just feel kinda weird about Caroline because I see a little bit of that The Parent Is Always Right in her, and also, the obvious, Your Husband, Hand Him Over
