@aikainkauna thank you for this amazing reply and rather warm welcome. It’s great to see such passion! And while I’m not a fan of fanfics etc., I did actually read some very good ones which actually did exactly what you described. So, I completely understand.

The demographic thing is very interesting, too - I felt like America is actually way more interested in restoring the films and such. Maybe I’m wrong, it’s my impression, at least. I’m from Vienna, so I thought ordering DVDs from the German Amazon page isn’t gonna be a problem, but...it kinda was, since they barely have 10 movies I think? So I’m very grateful for your services. It’s just astonishing that a German actor doesn’t get the kind of recognition he deserves. Who knows his name nowadays?

Anyways, it’s good to know that some people continue to love him even today, for their own reasons. That makes me happy!
