After months of basically no activity and drawings I had the urge to draw Bronzong. I'm not 100 % happy with the lighting but I think it turned out pretty good.

Pokopia made me fall in love with so many Pokémon that I never considered loving before. Although I liked Magnezone before I never really thought about liking Magnemite. But look at this little cutie!

Day at Albertina Museum in Vienna

I am in LOVE. The museum has a modern gothic echibition where specifically van Gogh's "Skull of a Skeleton with Burning Cigarette" impressed and inspired me.

We also went through almost the whole museum and when I spotted "Football" (1924) from Alexander Deineka it hit me. This reminded me of one of my favourite artists of all time: @loish I love your compositions and although my artstyle is very different from yours, you always will be one of my sources of inspiration!

This was by far my most beloved art museum experiences of all time. All the wonderful pieces of impressionism and expressionism, and all of the wood/iron-etching pieces (especially by Albrecht Altdorfer) inspired me to do even more art.

The last thing I want to mention was this short text next to an art study. While copying for commercial success is-was-and will be something I judge - studying the artstyles of others and improving your own skills by copying the works of masters isn't something artist have to be afraid of.
