late, but these are the pieces I contributed for a pokemon gijinka zine hosted by @dotzines! it was hella fun :D

and here's all the reference and concepting I did to put the designs together cuz process is a good time:

qwilfish I was leaning between motorbike/racecar driver and baseball player, the latter felt much better as a character design choice to match the original pokemon

scizor I just went back to my obsession with rockman starforce character design (in particular black ace) combined with other megaman designs to throw this together :D
