Sorry, I’ve been kinda artblocked of late! Thank you so much for following and liking my KND stuff🙏 I’m so inspired by all the art I see on Tumblr, to see the work by everyone who loves that wacky nostalgic 2000s cartoon too. I’ve still been drawing it but I’m not too happy with the results so here’s something different for now--I love having Hololive streams in the background while I draw.

Rewatching this series as an adult has been quite the trip because I ended up loving the Delightful Children and Father a whole lot more than when I was young. Apart from the nostalgia factor, this series has such a whimsical take on a child’s view of the world and growing up vs growing old.

I participated in Cringetober, one of the art challenges going around Twitter for the month of October. The prompts were related to cringey 2000s weeaboo stuff and I was determined to do them all with KND characters, but only managed to do 10 out of the 31 prompts, oof...

Nostalgia time!!! I watched a bunch of Codename: Kids Next Door episodes I didn’t watch in the past, including Operation Z.E.R.O. so here are some villains. Will probably get to drawing the actual KND in a bit!

I recently played Wolf Game (狼ゲーム) , a thriller/mystery mobile game similar to Danganronpa. Twelve characters locked in an unspecified location, ordered to discover the “wolf” among them through investigation and a trial? YEAAAAAHHHH! (it’s definitely influenced by DR but different enough to make it worth your while)

There are a lot of other side stories which I haven’t gotten to yet, but I’m done with the main story ahaha :’)

Recently had the urge to revisit Pokemon Black and White. It’s not the generation I grew up with, but I remember being very intrigued by all the amazing fanart of the characters and of course, N. I loved the brooding antihero thing he had going, and the ride in the ferris wheel and all those tiny little story details that made BW so fun. 

Just a smol thing with Rosa and Hilda, and Oshawott because he was my favourite starter from that generation lol.

Experimented with Polaroid-style printing (?) of Reddie. I’m still semi-obsessed with the stupid clown movie; the book has always been one of my favourite Stephen King stories but Richie & Eddie as characters didn’t really stick out until the STUPID MOVIE ghhhh something something your mom

UM!!! I somehow got it into my head that it would be nice to draw some screenshots from this song called Yuukei Yesterday with Reddie!! It was a very self-indulgent, very wild ride! The song itself is from an anime/light novel series that I didn’t really follow back in the day but looking at the comments, there are hidden depths and ironic layers to it, kind of like Reddie👀

I was mostly sold on Bandori thanks to the anime and Vocaloid covers, and always look forward to them bringing new cover songs over (I play the worldwide ver, which is about 1 year behind the Jp one but sometimes they shuffle things around and release events ahead of time).
