MP3

MP3 is a comic series written by Liam Champness and drawn by Jay Francis. The story is about teenagers living in a world taken over by monsters that are blind. Sirens around the city set off alarms at random creating a sound wave so the monsters can see. The sound wave also causes living humans enough pain to stop them in their tracks. The only way to get round this is if they wear headphones and blast music full blast, but it wont stop the monsters seeing where they are.

Here's another mock cover for a side issue I scripted. This probably wont see the light of day. If it does it wont be for months. But I had fun doing this. I might put cover duty onto myself to do these type of images.

I got bored and decided to color one of the pages in photoshop. Was fun but nothing will come of it. This is a black and white comic. Sorry guys ;)

I just made a mock up cover for MP3. Unsure if this will be the final product but it's all we seem to have as of right now.

Here are some pictures from another series me and Jay began to write together called the tower. It was about a bunch of teenagers that were an enforcement party in school hired by the head teacher. They were trained to beat the shit out of people and so on for the years they ran it but when graduation came they were too strong to be let into the real world. Swat teams would be sent in to murder them all. The comic would follow the day they was to be killed as they fought back, with flashbacks explaining their stories for joining the team and so on.

I kept trying to make Jay draw our newest character. He told me to draw him instead, in paint. I rose to the challenge like a boss, be sure to see the adventure of generic black guy in prison trousers soon.

Mock cover along with the correctly colored page one. Raza Shah has joined the project to hopefully draw the cover for issue 0. Things are shaping up pretty well I think.

Bigger shots of the first two pages. The first issue will be more like issue 0 to get people interested. the second one coming will start from the beginning, it should introduce some main characters and hopefully the one you see now. Then maybe issue two will continue where this leaves off. Yes we're aware that the coloring on pages doesn't match up right now, this shall be fixed when all is done.

Here is the settled on new style. The rewritten script described stuff for Jay more with links to existing pictures and so on. The first image was Jay asking what page coloring to set, I picked the first one. Page two of the comic has the character falling over paralyzed, in the script he grabs his ears and falls to his knees, this may have to be redrawn for the sake of a storyline I plan to write later. Sorry Jay ;)

Here is the start our first draft drawn up by Jay, these begin to follow the first script written but after this we decided to do a complete rehaul, I rewrote the script to make it short (due to time constraints) and we settled on a new drawing style.
