MPMsim

MPMsim™, short for Material Point Method Simulation, is a 3D continuum mechanics tool for static and dynamic stress analysis. MPMsim™ is powered by an enhanced and extended version of the Material Point Method (MPM). Taking advantage of aspects from both Eulerian and Lagrangian methods, Material Point Method is better suited than the traditional finite element method for problems involving large deformations, impact/contact, localization, crack propagation, material penetration, fracture and fragmentation. MPMsim™ natively overcomes inherent limitations of competitor software in terms of mesh tangling, excessive artificial diffusion and boundary smearing.
