Roots | Psyche & Shun
The brunette had just finished with his studies for now, finished his homework at school since it just felt better to do there than at home. He always felt like he could get more work done. Once he was packed up, cane unfolded before him leading him out of the library and towards the front of the school where his ride usually meet him, something he wasnāt expecting was that familiar presence to stop him in his tracks. That presence that feels like itās haunted him like a ghost.
Now Shun isnāt one for being rude, but he can be cold when the time came for it. Feeling Psyche standing before him heās sure his face must have been easy to read. The silence between them was absolutely deafening wondering who was going to speak first.
with how they had gotten off on a bad footing just the previous time that they had met before, psyche canāt help but wonder why at the same time that sheās here, right in front of shun, and back for more. perhaps it was her truthful desire to patch things up with shun, or at the very least--she thought, it would be much better for her for things not to remain as they currently were. it would be bad for both shun and her, in the long run, as much as confronting it hurt.Ā
āhi. shun.ā awkwardness permeated her very frame as she inhaled in a breath, fidgeting in her spot as she frowned lightly, wondering if she had gotten things wrong once more with how stony her sonās face seemed with a simple hello and the halt of his footsteps.Ā āi suppose i could say..that its good to see you.ā she mumbles, more for her own personal benefit than that of shunās quietly scrutinizing the look on his face and how much heād grown within the past few months of them avoiding each other through the small community of mount phoenix.Ā
āwonāt you spare a little time for us? for me? just to talk? i think, iād like to explain things a little more and a little further. you might have misinterpretated some things from what i said all those months ago.ā she blurted out, unable to control herself as she wrung her hands slightly in distress.Ā ājust give me ten minutes of your time. and if you donāt want to see me anymore afterwards, thatās fine with me too. at least--give me a chance to explain myself.ā
