[ downpour ] receiver finds sender out in the rain
Rain. Just more and more bars of rain endlessly coming straight down from the skies above — It was something Psyche had come to love, and come to adore. For it was beautiful and she, as she grew more as a person and grew older and wiser, found the beauty in just about everything she possibly could. Heels clicked against the pavement below as she walked along the street, eyes focused directly in front of her as she made her way onward; her hand clutched the umbrella that protected her from the cold water. As she walked alone, she could sense a familiar aura just around the corner. One she knew was a part of her.
Shun. Brows furrowed ever so slightly as she watched from a distance and remained quiet. She had visited him before as a child — though she always remained in the shadows, but she was there watching him grow. Her heart hurt not being able to truly be by his side and with him always, but she entrusted his father very much so to take care of their child. A soft sigh escaped Psyches lips as she continued to watch, almost forgetting that they weren’t in the mortal realm and now she could be at his side. The water droplets kissed his skin and covered him completely, making him soaking wet. “Here...” words escaped her lips as her feet lead her to be by his side, the umbrella that was over her now over him, protecting him from the cold rain that was steadily coming down. “I don’t want you catching anything..” she spoke softly, smiling as she examined his face. She knew who he was, she knew him the minute she saw him. She could feel the drawing of their souls together as she watched him from afar moments ago but did he feel who she was.
“Do you want to take my hand? I can help you home..”
