Strawberry Picking @ La Trinidad, Baguio City

This is a freshly picked strawberry from La Trinidad,Baguio City. I personally picked this strawberry from the farm during our vacation. They offer first-hand strawberry picking experience to visitors while enjoying the farm view and cold breeze.

It's a must try activity when visiting Baguio.

The photo was taken at Sanchez Peak Camp Site during the sunrise. In the picture are my friends packing their tents, taking selfies, and preparing for breakfast while I'm enjoying the view the place has to offer.

It was an amazingly amazing overnight camp. The stars are almost within your reach plus unlimited cold breeze. We chose the easiest trail to the summit while we reserved the challenging one going down. The descent was the most adventurous part of the entire trip. Special mention to the downhill cornfield we crossed,most of us saw better days that time. There were tons of unexpected trails and stopovers too. We passed by the river wall where we tried the rock climbing. Then a seemingly endless walk along and through the dry river to get at the Blue Lagoon called Khlaja Cave aka Olarte Cave.

Ps. The picturesque view of city lights has always been a favorite among travel photographers. If you are looking for a perfect spot that can offer this sight, Sanchez Peak in Brgy. Conel, General Santos City is the place to be.

Mt. Matutum, the highest point and one of the dormant volcanoes in the province of South Cotabato.

"Matutum" is from a local dialect which means hardworking or resilient.

The photo was shot using a mobile phone (Asus Zenfone max pro M2) when we descended from Sanchez Peak, another must climb spot in South Cotabato.

I took the shot because of the overwhelming sight it offers. It's a rare opportunity to see the goddess' naked beauty. I live in the city, so the sight is always different.

I climbed the peak of this mountain once during a summer break. The trail was completely opposite from what you can see in the photo. You will walk limping, crawl, climb, and leap to the top then stumble on your way down. That was my most difficult trekking experience so far. I will never do it once more.

It's when the day is almost over and suddenly memories are flashing back as you stare in every corner of the school then you smirk a little, that's it. Memories of fun and sadness, contentment and disgust, love and envy, hardwork and procrastination.

Saddening but it makes you think that you can only be happy today.

E X P I R I N G

Seven year of experience in the field of education is just the beginning of living but I feel so exhausted -mind and body plus dumped principles.

Seven years have passed but my body is almost the same. No significant increase in height neither weight. I still thank God for I haven't experienced very ill.

As long as I am happy, I will be at my best. 🤯
