Whatās the biggest mistake we make in life?
YOU THINK YOU HAVE TIME
Time is free, but it is priceless.
You can not own it, but you can use it.
You can not keep it, but you can spend it.
And once it is lost, you can never get it back.

The Sounds of Silence
Hello darkness, my old friend,
I've come to talk with you again,
Because a vision softly creeping,
Left its seeds while I was sleeping,
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence.
In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone,
'Neath the halo of a street lamp,
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence.
And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more.
People talking without speaking,
People hearing without listening,
People writing songs that voices never share
And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence.
"Fools, " said I, "You do not know.
Silence like a cancer grows.
Hear my words that I might teach you.
Take my arms that I might reach you."
But my words like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells of silence
And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made.
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming.
And the sign said, "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls
And whispered in the sounds of silence."

ADVICE FOR MY SONS:
The world needs more men that are determined to do what is right, no matter the cost or investment, rather than what is just easy or self-serving. Men of principle and character will always be the backbone that makes it possible for society to stand and thrive. You want easy? Then prepare for an uneventful, unimaginative, and an inconsequential life.

THE STORY OF A BOY WHO WORE 3 T-SHIRTS
STOLEN TIME
When I was just a little child and wanted to climb upon your knee, it was never just the two of us, that phone would make it three. I wanted your attention, I needed some time with you, But you were busy texting and had important things to do. As I got a little older and would come from school each day, I couldn't wait to tell you about my work and tell you about my play. But each time I tried to tell you all the things I wanted to say, Your fingers were busy texting, so I would just walk away. Soon I was a teenager and I needed a listening ear, You'd look at me as you were texting, but I knew you didn't really hear. I was struggling and I needed you, I was pleading for your time But that phone had come between us, and your attention was never mine. Now I'm grown and on my own, and so very sad to say, I don't really even know you...and those years have gone away. I wished we could have talked and laughed and been as close as we could be, But that phone stole that time from us and you didn't even see. Written by Judy Cowan (2015)
"This sort of brotherhood happens when people give their hearts, might, minds, and strength to a cause greater than themselves. When we work together in a bond of brotherhood, when we love each other and are loyal and faithful to the great cause to which we have been called, the impossible becomes possible." - Elder Joseph B. WALKER PROVERBS
WALKER PROVERB #5: Sometimes there is purpose in the path that winds through the darkness. There are lessons to be learned when traveling in solitude. What is the source of your joy and light? You find it in the presence of those you love.
