REMEMBERING IN A NIGHTMARE THE TIME YOU MURDERED ALL YOUR FRIENDS
now in an easier to see format than in one giant fucking huge picture
I went home and Googled the statue to see what the internet had to say about this mysterious black man, and I found that the New York City Parks Department website did not mention the presence of a second human being in the monument at all. Instead, it read: āThe work, set in a picturesque pink granite steele designed by architect Henry Bacon, features a heroic-sized Lafayette standing next to his horse.ā Lafayette and his horse. His horse. Nary a mention of the grown man standing there, blanket over his shoulder and a look on his face like heād rather be someplace else. I was perplexed, and then angry, and then curious. I went to the library. The statue, by Daniel Chester French, had been commissioned when a Frenchman turned Brooklynite named Henry Harteau died and left the city $35,000 to cast a monument to his celebrated countryman. (Lafayette and Harteau are identified on the statueās base, and it was dedicated in 1917.) He asked that the statue be based on a painting called Lafayette at Yorktown by Jean-Baptiste Le Paon. The painting was actually of two men named Lafayette; one was the familiar marquis, and the other was named James Armistead Lafayette. The marquis was white and James was black. Still, I wondered: Were they brothers? Why did they share a last name? It turns out that James Armistead was an enslaved man from Virginia who enlisted to fight against the British and ended up working as a double agent. The information he acquired helped to win the battle of Yorktown; hence, the heroic painting. He served under Lafayette, and the two men became such close friends that the marquis successfully petitioned to have James made a free man, after Jamesās own request for manumission was denied. (Apparently, they were only freeing āslave-soldiersā who fought in the war; being a āslave-spyā didnāt qualify.) James Armistead then took the name of his friend out of affection and gratitude. He lived a long life and become a farmer and a family man.

Changing Policy on Fan Merch
There were a few reasons I instated this policy. However, after talking to a lawyer, it seems like allowing certain things wonāt really hurt Temmie or Fangamer (my friends). So things will become more lenient.
Now, I wonāt stop individual fans from selling the following items at cons:
- Prints, charms, buttons, keychains, stickers, etc. - Most handmade items - Undertale zines/fanbooks/doujinshi - Musical albums/CDs that contain UNDERTALE remixes as <=30% of tracks. (Still figuring out full albumsā¦)
However, restrictions exist:
- You cannot use the UNDERTALE logo or put the name UNDERTALE on it, as it is trademarked. (Weird, right!?) - No t-shirts, apparel/clothing,* or machine-made figures or machine-made plushes. - Do not sell merch via Redbubble, zazzle, or other large online store. - No, you still canāt do Kickstarters or crowdfunding campaigns for UT-related things. - If youāre a company (like Sharkrobot or Hot Topic or something) you cannot sell UNDERTALE merch of ANY kind. - Do not compete with official merch & acknowledge my copyright. If necessary, I can halt any unofficial itemās sale. (Really donāt want to ^^;;) - If this change turns out to be actually bad, I can reverse the decision. - If you sell, please have played the game.
* Exception: if someone hand-made a few scarves, hats, cosplay, or accessories, itād probably be OK. But if mass-produced, it could become a problem.
When in doubt, if hand-made and few, itās OK. If mass-produced and machine/factory made, itās not OK.
PS - One-off art commissions of UT characters are still OK, online or offline.
PPS - If engaging in UNDERTALE activities at a con (selling, cosplaying, etc.), try to be respectful and give a good impression. Overall, UNDERTALEās had a positive effect on people who have played it. Itād be nice if it could have a positive effect on the rest of the world, too.
no one is straight in star wars. the stars are gay. the wars are gay. im gay.
āRebelā Acrylic and gouache on Rives BFK mounted on wood panel 9ā³ x 12ā³ Hereās my piece inspired by Princess Leia for Gallery 1988ās Star Wars: Art Awakens gallery show and charity auction, a collaboration between Gallery 1988, Disney, LucasFilm, and Bad Robot. Pieces in the show will be auctioned off for charity on eBay on Friday, November 13th. If youāre in Los Angeles, you can see the artwork in person on Saturday and Sunday (November 14th and 15th) from 11amā10pm at Gallery 1988 (West). Find out more info hereĀ and support a good cause!
Almost everything in this piece is a reference from the original Star Wars trilogy: the symbols of the Rebel Alliance and the Empire, band patches for Max Rebo Band and the Mos Eisley Cantina band, āRebel scum,ā tattoos of Alderaan and Leiaās blaster, modified X-wing pilot gloves, the vest Leia wore on Hoth, her pants from Endor, the chain she used to strangle Jabba, and of course her hair from A New Hope. If you couldnāt tell, I had a lot of fun with this!
Everyone shipping Finn/Poe and Rey/Kylo and Iām just over here shipping these two stormtroopers
I canāt stress this enough, I donāt care if you think youāre a āgender critical radical feministā or not, I donāt care if you think you support trans women
If you subscribe to the notions that
Trans women can somehow be lumped into a coclass with men in any way shape or form or are part of the class of men in any way shape or form (this includes referring to trans women as male)
That trans women are somehow not affected by misogyny
That transmisogyny somehow does not exist
That trans women somehow oppress cis women of similar other vulnerabilities through misogyny
That trans women donāt belong in women only spaces (including bathrooms, shelters, rape counseling, safe spaces, wlw spaces and lesbian spaces)
or that trans women are somehow a source of āMan/Male Violenceā
Then youāre fucking garbage and I donāt want you interacting with my work, with my posts, with me or anywhere on my dash. I certainly donāt want you following me.
I donāt give a fuck what other things you think we agree on or if you like my funny posts and jokes. I want you fucking gone.
If Jesus was born from a virgin birth, doesnāt that mean he has only an X chromosome. Wouldnāt that make him female?
wait
TRANS JESUS TRANS JESUS TRANS JESUS
I have taken 3 years of Theology, 1 of Apologetics, and 1 of Anatomy and Physiology and Iām honesty stumped by this one
Those species which are parthenogenic (i.e. self-fertilising, certain lizards, snakes, frogs and fish) the offspring is always genetically/physically female-typical. So yeah, if we were to take the nativity as a scientific story, a parthenogenic human pregnancy (still a scientific impossibility) would result in an AFAB child, and since that child has always been referred to as āheā, voila, trans jesus.
Force Awakens spoilers
Iām laughing so hard that people are shipping Kylo Ren and Rey and are already hoping that they donāt turn out to be related. Iām hoping that with the next two movies they branch out, because it feels like theyāve done a lot of the important sidewinks and nudges to the audience already.

āDeath cannot stop true love. All it can do is delay it for a while.ā
Three months after a transgender traveler's horrifying experience being screened at an airport, the agency reveals the change it promised in October.
TSA screening goes from calling trans bodies āanomaliesā to an āalarm.ā
I cannot see how this is in any way shape or form an improvement, but I see that I am still justified in my anxiety about airports and traveling. (which isnāt a great measure to be honest because I have anxiety about everything)
Fuck TSA and I donāt even know whatās wrong with those who approved this.
In the alpine region, many traditions that predate Christianity are still alive and revered by the local folks. One of them is the āKlausentreibenā during the night of the sixth of December. Young males dress up like animalistic spirits, like the bear, the deer and the wolf, and roam the streets while making loud noise. That was supposed to banish the evil spirits from the underworld that were believed to gain strength during the long winternights, threatening the well-being of the village folks and their livestock.
ok thereās a lot of posts about thisĀ but honestly fucking round of applause to the closeted lgbtq+ kids this holiday season you guys are all brave and beautiful and brave no matter who you are or what your identity isĀ
donāt let anyone tell you otherwise.Ā not your parents, not your relatives, nobody. you know yourself better than anyone else.
if there isnāt anyone you can talk to, my inbox is always open!
you are amazing and i love you all so please have a safe and happy holiday!!
