yk i never thought about spamton having religious psychosis until i saw someone mention it recently, but it actually makes so much sense. at first obviously he just cares about being big and famous, but over time it slowly morphs into this weird fucked up belief that hes going to heaven and that mike is saving him and that he just needs to keep listening and stop messing up or hes going to die and burn for eternity--he NEEDS to go to heaven. All of his phone calls turning into him chanting prayers. Begging for forgiveness when he messes up. I feel like mike twisted up his brain so fucking much that when they called Spamton after he was going to tell Tenna his secret (UGHHH PROBABLY BECAUSE HE WANTED TENNA TO GO TO HEAVEN TOO) Mike probably said some shit that scared him so fucking bad and Spamton atp was so insanely out of his mind that he immediately left to pray and beg and plea, just for Mike to be gone completely. And then obviously he never went back to Tenna because he meagerly hopes if he doesnt that Mike will come back and grant him access to the pearly gates again. Just such a cool concept. I also wonder if near the end too when Spamton starts acting like this if Tenna ever asks or says anything or if hes too freaked out/mad at him for other things to worry properly.
