People will pick the worst characters ever to interpret as transmasculine, like it will be a character who is presented as a man and every aspect of his identity is performative and he's deeply out of touch with his own feelings, sometimes with these character traits Specifically fitting into narrative threads about masculinity being a source of anguish while femininity is repressed, AND YET apparently he's a fully realized transgender man who has been in touch with this part of himself and transitioning since he was like 10?
