I SWEAR DUDE IT WASN’T FULLY CONFIRMED BUT THERE’S MORE EVIDENCE

Also the fact that he was likely a father, as he was talking to someone I assume was waiting for him at home but had no ring. That was also the Toy’s main thing; they mostly targeted parents. Obviously Chica didn’t personally care for Abby, as she was about to kill her at one point.

Also also-Ralph taking on an instructor role who had to inform others about robotics. It kind of sounds like originally he was going to be a teacher possibly

#on top of that there’s the basics like Mr.Berg resembles SOME fanon interpretations of Ralph (hehe) and he’s wearing his signature color #he obviously cares about kids-but often puts the image of his job first WHICH IS RALPH-HE DID THST #also just SO many things I hope get played into later in flashbacks #like Berg hated Freddy’s a weird amount like he knew something #how is Freddy’s below him? obviously we’d have answers but he’s fearful of the name and site of it #AND ALSO HAD ONE OF THE GAMES MAPS ON HIS BOARD #did dude find out his job was kidnapping kids and quit and tried to slander it on the outside??#did he realize what happened-not want Copellia to be hunted down-and tried to rebrand a better image for robotics in that town????

sorry if this is weird but you draw bernadette so beautifully and with such care and love (like with everything you draw, obviously) and I've never seen anyone with my body shape drawn that way without there being a weird stereotype/caveat attached and it makes me feel so awesome. Your art is so sick and your style is so expressive

Really, it’s not weird at all!

It really makes my day when I get messages like this! And you’re totally right, as I intentionally frame Bernadette in a light of being agreeably cute and attractive, but not looked down upon, sexualized, objectified, etc.

Bernadette has a lot of vintage illustration inspo (one partially being Hilda by Duane Bryers if you want some recommendations) (and a bit of ancient and renaissance inspo sometimes, like seen in the last post), but overall I’d never want her to seem like she’s the “exception” or “good one”, as there’s beauty in all body types, but modern media clouds that truth and often makes a joke of it
