these flashbacks (obviously paralleled by cbs on purpose) tell us a lot. but truly the most important thing that it hints at is the time at which the flashbacks are from. they’re from seasons (years) prior to these moments. tony’s flashback of ziva looks to be from around season nine (@tonysziva when they were talking about weddings). ziva’s flashback of tony looks to be around season three. they remember every little moment with each other. they have always, ALWAYS, loved each other. and these parallels prove it so, even when neither of them knew it.
