I don’t know why you feel this way but these have been my comfort characters for well over a decade so yes i adore this series. I am grateful for the sole fact that this series exists and i trust Michael and Cote. Besides the series is not over yet so, give it another shot.

Hear me out, Martine is for sure related in some way to Ziva. There is no way they are not tied somehow. Especially with how protective she was when Tali being hurt was brought up.

We got to witness most of tiva key moments in flashbacks (which btw was perfect writing choice.. we got to see how their trauma manifested both individually and in a relationship) BUT i really hope we will get to witness the first “i love you” in a perfect setting and timing (present timeline)

Okay but hear me out… The Wine Theory 👀🍷

Tony in A Desperate Man 9x13: [When asked if he ever married] “Almost. Once….It was that [being a cop]… and the red wine.”

Red. Wine. A tiny throwaway line, right?

Ziva in T&Z 1x03: “Merlot always got me in a lot of trouble.”

Are we really supposed to believe that’s coincidence?

So either:

a) the writers accidentally stumbled into the most poetic callback of all time, or

b) the “red wine” has always been Ziva, or

c) it’s symbolic and their relationship is aging like wine

Okay so at the end of this recent interview, Michael says, - when asked how the season either ends or opens up an opportunity for a second season - something to the effect of, "When you get through one curveball life throws you two more".

I'm curious. What do we think the new curveballs are going to be at this point? We know they're endgame so it's not their relationship. I wanna hear all the theories. All of theeemmm!

Okay so hear me out. At this end of season we will get a proposal. Next season should be the wedding, but something comes up and they have to resolve the thing before they can actually get married.

Something we haven't talked about much yet is how amazing the side characters are, I love them all way more than I was expecting to. Perfect casting all around. I have a feeling Jonah is the bad guy working with Martine and eventually Henry and Tony will make up. At least I hope so, cause I like Henry (James D'Arcy is amazing, he was in another show I used to love). Boris and Fruzsi, Claudette, Sophie, even Nicole, all amazing. The acting is amazing (which is something the mothership is lacking in at the moment) and they all feel very 3 dimensional. They get some great dialogue too. I'm just so happy with how everything came together 🥹 and the writing too is exceptional
