âItâs not fair.. if we put Griff through hell heâll just bitch to me about it later. You get off scotch free. You donât have to deal with him tomorrow when he brings our daughter back,â she pouted. Though Griffin had it coming, heâd gotten her hopped up on sugar more then once before bringing her home, so he deserved it. Hallie was finishing up some dishes when she heard the toddlerâs shrieks from outside. She looked up and smiled fondly at the people she loved most, and watched as Jason spun the girl around. Having heard the shrieks and thinking someone was in trouble Bronx came running down the stairs, barking his head off until he got outside and realized Addison was okay. âGood boy, Bronxy.â She tried her hands before joining her family outside. âHaving fun, baby girl?â she asked once both her feet were back down on the ground.
Jason had never imagined this for his life, but he honestly could not have been any happier. His heart was so full of joy as he watched his daughter shrieking with laughter, her cheeks growing flushed as she looked up at him with big eyes. âWhoooo. Youâre getting so big now.â He told the little girl as he sat her down on the ground, looking up as Bronx came outside to see what all the commotion was about. âAnd look at that, baby girl, Bronx thought his best friend was in trouble and came running.â Jason smiled fondly at the family pet, who was so much more than that. Bronx had immediately taken to Addison when the couple brought her home, sleeping by her crib every night and then eventually at the end of her bed. He was by her side through the sick nights and was the one who alerted the parents to her crying if they hadnât already heard. âYes mommy.â Addison babbled as she ran over to Bronx, wrapping her arms around his neck, giggling as the dog gave her sloppy kisses. âCake?â She inquired as she looked up at her parents. âNot yet, Addie. We have to wait until your guests get here.â Jason looked at Hallie with a smirk as he bumped her shoulder playfully. âShe is your child.â
Hallie raised her eyebrow at him, âAny normal human being likes Chocolate milk! Youâre the only weirdo I know who does. Iâm starting to think somethings wrong with you.â She playfully nudged him as she handed the girl her cup. Hallie had craved chocolate milk, chocolate milk shakes, and hot chocolate a lot when she was pregnant so it was no wonder her daughter loved it so much. âIâm pretty sure sheâll hate the idea once she figured out sheâd have to share her Daddy with her brother or sister.â Addie was such a Daddyâs girl, it was damn near impossible to pull her away from him. It was both adorable and enough to make Hallie jealous. âHmmmmâŠ.. I wouldnt mind a little practice,â the girl smirked before leaning in to peck his lips. âAnd Iâm sure Griff would love to have this one for the night.â She peppered her daughters cheek with kisses, making her giggle and smile. âAre we bad parents if we spend the night of our daughters birthday party having sex/â hallie chuckled.
Jason let out a âpft!â as he bounced Addie on his hip. âThe way I see it is thisâŠas long as she had a good time and we were responsible parents a majority of the time, it doesnât matter. Besides, if we load her up on sugar, sheâll give Griffin a hell of a time. Isnât that right, princess? Youâre going to hang out with Uncle Griffin after your party! All the cake, ice cream and cookies that you want! Sugar, sugar, sugar.â He gave Hallie an evil smile before walking towards the sliding door that lead to the backyard. âGriffin is going to hate me. I canât wait.â Jason opened the door and walked outside, setting Addie down gently on her feet. âUh uh, daddy. Hand.â The little girl blurted out, reaching up to take her dadâs large hand in her own. Jason grasped onto her tiny hand, reaching around her to grab the other one. âOkay, monkey. You want to fly?â Jason lifted the little girl into the air, holding her securely as he spun her around, making airplane noises as he did so. âSay look mommy!â He yelled out. âWook mommy!â The little girl shrieked between fits of laughter.
whatsuphallie:
Hallie just pouted and shook her head. âNo she doesnât. She can stay little forever,â she grumbled, not wanting to admit that her daughter would no longer be a baby at some point. While Jason went up stairs she stuck the big âOneâ candle onto the cake and scooped off a bit of icing for a little taste test. âThereâs my favorite birthday girl,â she said happily going over to pepper the toddlers face with kisses. She wiggled and giggled in Jasonâs arms as Hallie kissed her. âYou ready for some post-nap chocolate milk, missy?â She grabbed the sippy cup filled with chocolate milk off the counter and held it out to her little girl. âYou better make her stop growing or give me another baby to fawn over,â she whispered to Jason before pecking his cheek. Not only was Hallie thinking she wanted to expand their little family, she also wanted Addie to have a sibling that was close to her age.
Jason smiled in adoration as he watched Hallie interacting with Addie. She had come so far since finding out she was pregnant, and Jason was beyond proud of the woman that she had become. She was without a doubt a terrific mother to Addie. âDo all kids like chocolate milk? I donât get the appeal.â Jason mumbled as Addie reached out for her sippy cup and began to drink it. He had never been a huge milk fan, only consuming it when it was poured over his cereal. Upon hearing Hallieâs suggestion, Jason raised his eyebrows. âOh really now?â His blue eyes looked down at the little girl in his arms. âWhat do you think, Addie? Do you want a little brother or sister?â The little girl looked confused for a moment before meekly nodding her head. âEh, sheâll get used to the idea.â He chuckled, shifting her to his other hip. âWe can always practice later tonight? Get Griffin to babysit the munchkin?â He inquired.
whatsuphallie:
âYou were scared too!â she said quickly as she pointed a birthday candle at him. âI only said that because I wanted her to be big enough to sleep through the night. Now sheâs too big and I want her to stop growing up.â Hallie smiled happily as he kissed her forehead. She really didnât know what she would have done without him. There was no way she could have done this all on her own. âFrom me? Pshhh. I donât have an attitude. What happens if in your attempt to make Baby Boy Brenner you actually make another girl, and are even more out numbered?â she asked him as she raised an eyebrow at him. Theyâd talked about having more kids at some point and now would probbly be the best time to try for another, since then Addie would be close in age with her brother or sister. âIf she wakes up than she has to come dow here and blow out these candles⊠and thatâd make it all real. Sheâd officially be a toddler and not my little baby anymore,â she pouted.
âSheâs gotta grow up sometime, momma. Iâll go see if the little princess is up yet.â Jason turned from his girlfriend and made his way to the stairs, stopping at the top to listen and see if he could hear any noise coming from Addieâs room. He didnât hear anything so he took a few steps forward until he was at her door, placing his hand on the knob to slowly turn it and open the door. The male peeked his head into the dim room, a smile lighting up his face when he saw his little girl laying wide awake in her bed. âAddie cake! Happy happy birthday, sweetheart.â He had said it when he woke her up in the morning, but you really could never say happy birthday too many times. âDADDY!â The little girl exclaimed as she bounded out of her bed and over into his waiting outstretched arms. Jason scooped her up and hugged her to his chest, cherishing the moment. âCome on, mommyâs getting your cake ready.â Jason held onto her tightly as he walked back down the stairs and into the kitchen. âHereâs the birthday girl!â He announced with a grin.
whatsuphallie:
Hallie pulled her daughters birthday cake out of the fridge and set it down on the counter before looking up at her boyfriend and pouting. âSheâs getting too big too fast! I donât like this,â she grumbled as she opened the package of a big candle in the shape of a two. It was their daughters second birthday and while she napped the two were busy getting the house ready for the little birthday party they were having for her tonight. Their closest friends and people who were like family to them were all coming for dinner, and then on Saturday theyâd have a real party with all her friends from daycare. âI miss having a little baby that needed me to do everything. Now she walks and talks and wants to do everything herself⊠she is more stubborn and independent than the both of us put together!â

Jason leaned against the counter and watched as his girlfriend got the cake and set it up. A soft smile graced his lips while he listened to Hallie talk. âYouâre so cute. I remember when you were pregnant and absolutely terrified. I remember nights where you said all you wanted was for her to not be a baby. â Jason leaned over to press a kiss to her temple, wrapping his arm around her waist. âMy how the tables have turned. But sheâs got your attitude you know. Itâs like there are two of you in the house. I might need a Jason junior to help me put up with you girls.â He teased with a smile. âShouldnât she be waking up from her nap soon? I know when I went to her room this morning she was practically bouncing with excitement.â
âOh shitâŠ. fuckâŠ. oh my goâŠ.IâŠ. I think the babies coming,â she said as she waddled back from the bathroom.
âFuck. Seriously? I-...shit.â Jason ran his hands through his hair. âDid your water break, babe?â
 whatsuphallie:
âI just know you so well, Jase. I know you love to play bumper baby and see how many walls you can make Addie and run into,â she laughed, since clearly they were just playing. Hallie trusted him whole heartedly and knew he wouldnât let anything happen to them. When he moved his hands she opened one eye and then finally the other. âOh my god,â she said quietly as she turned around to see the whole room. âBaby, itâs perfect⊠everything is perfect. You thought of everything.â Hallie moved closer to him, placing her hands on either side of his face as she grinned ear to ear at him. âI love it. All of it! âŠ. And you.. I fucking love you,â she chuckled before leaning in and kissing him deeply.Â
Jason waited with bated breath as Hallie surveyed the room, letting out a deep breath when she seemed to approve. Her grin was contagious and his face mirrored hers as he pulled her against his body, chuckling when her belly got in the way. âYeah, well. I just know that weâre already going to be preoccupied when itâs time to take you to the hospital.â Jason accepted her kiss, returning it eagerly as they stood in their daughters room. âI love you too, Miss Parker. You know, I might just start saying Mrs. Brenner. It has a better ring to it.â He smiled down at Hallie and lifted his hand to brush her hair off of her face.
Y'know, I wouldnât mind being a home wrecker all that much if my prize would be Patrick Dempsey.Â
Eh, Iâm more of a McSteamy fan myself.
âI still do like, itâs kind of hot⊠I just donât like it when it keeps me from getting my way.â Hallie dramatically groaned as he helped puller up off the couch. The closer she got to her due date the worst she felt, and the more dramatic she got when she had to actually move or act like a real human. While he talked to her tummy she ran her hand through his soft hair, grinning fondly as he spoke to their daughter. âSo many stairs..â she grumbled as she climbed up two the second floor of the house. âReally?â Hallie thought of protesting but instead gave in and placed her hands over her eyes and let him surprise her. âDonât walk me into any walls, Brenner. I will kick your ass if it happens,â she said as he lead her into the room.
Jason rolled his eyes, even though Hallie couldnât see him as he made sure to place his hands over hers and lead her into the bedroom. âDamn it. How did you know that my plan was to let you bump into as many walls as possible?â Jason stopped when they got to the center of the room, taking his hands off of Hallieâs and stepping back. âOkay, open your eyes.â Jason had worked hard to make sure the room was ready for Addisonâs arrival. Everything from putting together furniture to putting away toys and clothes, to packing Hallieâs hospital bag which was sitting by the door. âI went ahead and made your bag for the hospital. Itâs got her outfit to wear home, toiletries for you,  and basically all the little things weâll need.â
âTargets where all the sluts hang out, didnât you hear?â she said with a chuckle. âI just got you back, can you blame me for not wanting to lose you?â Hallie knew he wasnât going anywhere, but that didnât stop her crazy hormonal mind from thinking stuff it shouldnât be thinking. âThank god. Well, that makes sense right? She has a small Mama, if she was big like most average babies she just wouldnât fit in here. Iâd be like a little pug trying to give birth to Bronxyâs puppies, it just doesnât work.â She knew it wasnât the best comparison but it did make it laugh to image what those puppies would look like. âIt is? Are you finally let me go see it, or are you still afraid the paint fumes will kill me?â
Jason narrowed his eyes and made a face at Hallie. âDonât knock my protective side. You used to love it. But yes, I will let you see it. Come on, baby mama.â Jason hopped up from the couch and reached down for Hallieâs hand, pulling her up and placing a hand on her belly. Jason leaned down and spoke softly. âMommy wants to see your room, little one. I canât wait for you to see it too.â  Jason started towards the stairs, leading the way with Hallie behind him. As they approached Addieâs room, Jason stopped short. âOkay miss. close your eyes. And no peeking!â

Griffin: Good, I'd hope you aren't involved with them. It's nice to hear that had nothing to do with you directly, and that you can admit where you are at fault. By business, you mean you're still pimping people out?
Jason: I guess that's to be expected. I still have a hand in that business, yes. But I also have a degree in marketing so I consult with other businesses.
Text to: Griffin
Griffin: Right, so you can understand why I didn't like you very much.
Griffin: Because I worry about her, I'd rather know Hallie wasn't surrounded by the things she was involved with when you two were together back then. Obviously she's an adult and makes her own decisions, but she had a rough patch before you decided to show up again and she doesn't need any extra temptations to go back to that life or whatever. I mean, obviously you're going to be a staple, so I'm talking about whatever kind of shit you're getting up to these days.
Jason: If you're referring to Hallie's drug problem...I never encouraged her on that front. When she worked for me/when we started dating, she was really young. I understand that I'm at fault for her working for people who supplied her those things. But I never ever wanted her to get into that. I don't do drugs so I'm not really sure what you're implying by the last sentence of your message. I run a business and that it.
