Lily looked over at the guy who she was falling in love with all over again and she didn’t know if she was scared to go down that route again. She laughed a little and nodded, “Oh I am hoping your little heart will be just fine because I will make it up to you later on .. in bed.” She stated as she whispered that in his ear. She looked at him and laughed a little as she looked at Carly and then at Julian, “Well Josh can give you the compliments and I will be here to compliment Carly.”

Julian looked over at the girl for a moment, he ran a hand through his hair as he looked at the girl he was in love with even though he didn’t understand why because Lily dated his best friend. He laughed a little, “Oh will you?” He asked as he heard the whisper, “I am looking forward to that.” He smiled as he smiled as he kissed Carly for a moment and then got in the front of the car, “I guess I can do that. Are you ready to go?”

Lily was glancing at hte guy for a moment and laughed a little, “Of course, who wouldn’t? She’s an adorable little girl and anyone would be lucky to get close to her.” She laughed a little and shook her head, “I won’t but are you sure it won’t break your little heart?” She laughed a little as he held her hand and she smiled holding his had feeling her heart skip a beat, “Well I have to be nice to you at some point. Kidding just being truthful.” She said as they made it to the car. 

Julian glanced over at her and laughed a little shaking his head, if he was honest, his little girl was his world so he was happy that Lily loved her as well because it made everything so easy. He laughed a little, “I think my little heart will be just fine.” He laughed a little as he got in the car after her and smiled a little, “Well I mean I guess it’s nice having you nice to me once in a while. It happens very rarely. Might just have to go to Josh for my compliments.”

Lily stood in her door way looking over at the guy as she smiled looking at him, their first date back together was freaking her out, it had been eight years since they were last together but now she really wanted things to work out between them and she knew it would only work out with him because she believed he was her true love. She laughed, “You do realise that I am only dating you to get closer to Carly, I only care about her.” She shook her head laughing, “Only kidding but I am excited to see her.” She smiled a little, “Aren’t you sweet, you look pretty handsome might I say. Yeah I am ready to go.” She stated. 

Julian glanced over at the girl as he ran a hand through his hair and laughed a little looking over at her for a moment before shaking his head, “Oh really? You just want to get close to Carly? Well then i guess that can work.” He laughed a little, “Just don’t let her know you’re using me to get close to her, might break her heart. Just give her some charm” He laughed a little nodding as he took her hand, “Well now you’re using the charm. Well come on then.”

Lily was dreading the date in all honesty it had been such a long time since she had been on one and this was with Julian, the guy she knew she still loved. She knew she had to give this a try and try and make this work or at least see what happens. They dated once before he got with Eleanor but things weren’t working that they decided to end things and then he got with Eleanor and was happy and had a child with her, that now there was a lot of things at steak but luckily she was okay with him having a daughter. 

Lily dressed in a crop top and a pair of black ripped jeans and sneakers, she was trying to go as casual as possible as she knew it was a picnic with Carly and Julian so she knew there was no point in dressing up. As she sat down she heard the door, so she got up and put a hand through her hair, before walking towards it and opening the door she saw Julian there, “Oh it’s you, I was hoping to see my favourite little princess.” She laughed looking up at him for a moment.  

Julian stood there at her door way, he felt nervous, and he didn’t know why this was his best friend after all, yes it was a date but it wasn’t so formal so why was he freaking out. He stood there as he saw the door open and looked up at the girl and smiled briefly looking down for a second before looking up again. As he heard her words he laughed briefly before shaking his head, “Oh and I thought you would be excited to see me. I’m kind of hurt that you don’t want to see me. But Carly is in the car waiting for you.” He smiled briefly, “You look beautiful by the way, you ready to go?”

Second First Date || F2F - Julian and Lily

Julian was excited for his date with Lily, after a few years of mishaps, since they tried dating at school, now they were older, he was wondering if things could work out between them this time, because he couldn’t deny that he was kind of caught between feelings between him and Lily and although they were best friends, he knew he couldn’t imagine what could happen but not see what would happen. He had decided to take them on a picnic, although he had to bring his little girl Carly with him because it was his week with her but luckily Lily had accepted that and was okay with it. 

As he drove to Lily’s, Carly was in the car seat in the back of his car and as he pulled up, he looked at the girl in the back seat, “Okay sweetie, I’m just going to go pick up lily and we’ll be going for our picnic, are you okay with staying here?” He asked before seeing the four year old nod. He smiled as he got out of the car and knocked on the door of Lily’s place and waited for the girl to open the door.
