Street Artist: Fintan Magee

Fintan Magee is an Australian street artist born in the NSW Town of Lismore. He gained a reputation as a graffiti artist before obtaining a Fine Arts degree and moving to Sydney. Described as “Australia’s Banksy”, Magee’s work is recognized for its lack of a political message, compared to other street artists, and its humor. Follow him on Instagram.

Optical Illusions on a Larger Scale by Astrograff

Gregory Taboul aka Astrogroff is a French painter who creates stunning streetart. My favorite works that he creates are large scale optical illusions. Gregory is largely self taught, but credits artists Victor Vasarely and Alphonse Mucha as inspirations. You can see these and more on his Instagram.

Street Artist: Katre

Katre is a French contemporary street artist whose inspiration thrives in abandoned buildings. He started writing graffiti in early 90’s, first writing his name, which means four in French, on all the surfaces, along with his crew STS.  After some time, his lettering style evolved, and the graffiti gradually became more and more difficult to read as the letters slowly disappeared to leave behind only the essentials – the movement, the energy, and the force the artist creates with. He is represented by GCA Gallery in Nice and Artsuggest.com, an online gallery. His Instagram.
