Update and Hiatus note
Hello, all. I’m sure you’ve all noticed the lack of pages, updates, and news in the more recent months. I’m here today to talk to you a bit about the future of The Manor. You see...in September, I started my senior year of college. Not only that, but I started production on my senior film project, Monster Crush, as well as signed up for work with other directors of other films. In addition to this, as a senior I’ve been starting a more thorough job search so that I can get work after graduation, and hopefully soon. All of these things combined, I’ve had to focus so much more of my time to school work, animation, and other obligations. I’ve been pouring my time and energy into my animations, storyboards, character designs, portfolio, etc. At the point I’m at in my life right now, I have had to leave The Manor on the far back burner. I still love this concept and the characters, and I want to continue it some day in the future, but I’ve simply had to prioritize other things in my life. A 6 book comic series about heavy political and relationship drama with weekly updates was a huge bite to try and chew while still at school and working through my major. If I ever do come back to this project, I want to do so when I’m ready and able. As it stands now, I am not at the point in my life where I can do this on top of everything else. I’m putting the comic on indefinite hiatus, with hopes of one day returning to it to finish the story. In the meantime, I hope you all understand, and I hope you enjoy the first book as posted.
