the raw honest truth? the reason i stopped taking art commissions is that, besides my anxiety with talking to clients, i can't justify to myself that my stilted unpracticed attempts at depicting other people's characters are worth any monetary value, and i'll make myself sick thinking the buyer will demand a refund after seeing the finished product. 🫣
