Time for these two boys to head home to Norway. Made this quick fun mario kart inspired stop motion clip of Ståle and Torgeir through the Hyatt regency hotel in downtown Denver. It was pretty funny seeing peoples reactions to two guys sliding through the hotel on their butts.

Sitting on polar bear watch in Svalbard, Norway. I took this selfie on a tripod at 2 am in the morning during my 1 and a half hour shift. We would rotate turns throughout the night. Instead of having a watch system in place you can opt for a tripwire system that will let off an explosive to scare a potential predator away. In the past I have heard of several incidents where the system has not gone off and has resulted in deaths, one accident which involved a British expedition and left 4 mauled and one dead occurred in Temple fjord which can be seen in the back of the image. I prefer to not take any risks when in the Arctic.
