More fih Some personal significance here, this is a redraw of something about 10 years old. For a while I'd get really jazzed about doing these kindsa whimsical creature evolution things. Over time I fell out of it, but redrawing this kinda reignited my enthusiasm in the idea, and in a time when I've been pretty stuck with species designs, I'm realizing the potential in this method to come up with interesting results. ...I think I'm gonna incorporate more stuff like this into the Tetracosm. This relates to a broader thing I'm realizing, which is, I've made my worldbuilding kinda.. un-fun. Because of self imposed rigidity. I had some kinda sauce when I was younger and cared less, causing me to look back and be impressed by some of what I came up with back then. And honestly I think I'd rather follow a worldbuilding project that's a little more whimsical than one that's overly concerned with explaining itself all the time.

I've always liked these sorta reaction/talksprite type anims for characters (I think largely because of Mean Bean Machine LOL), so I pushed myself to do each of these in like 10 mins as practice, super quick. I like the result, gonna aim to do more of these with other characters ^^
