I played around with a few ideas but ended up thinking how unsettling it would be for a parasitic fungus to slowly climb its way up to the food chain to human, starting with rats and squirrels, then cats and dogs, slowly, a threat you can see clear as day, and do nothing to stop, as it works its way up to you.
And I haven’t thrown up an Egg update the entire time
I feel I need to explain, or at the very least make some excuses :P
You see, I’ve been busy
Quite busy
And thing have kind of piled up
Things like work and responsibilities
Art I want to get done and art I NEED to get done
Socialising and other projects
I’ve ended up making a massive pile of thing to do and I’ve felt
Stuck
Now, is this a good reason for why Eggs stopped
Pfft! No!
But it is the situation I find myself in presently
One thing I can promise though is I am NOT abandoning this series
I care
Maybe too much about the art, the stories or the straight up crazy silliness I get to throw up here
So, if you feared I would never post an Egg again, cast those worries aside
Now, you might be asking “but Morphea? What does this mean, are you going to start Egg again soon?”
And to that I say, “Good Question!”
I’m unsure on when the series will pick back up, I am still working on the next poll (it’s an animation it takes me a bit alright) but what I can tell you is that when it returns I will be changing how it works
Previously I posted them every day, in a hope to give everyone something to look forward to and to help me maintain consistency
But this has begun to stress me out and might to feeding my burnout in a worse way
Thus, I’ll be changing the polls to week long, giving myself plenty of time to plan and create, and for you lovely voters to ponder on the outcome to such tantalising stakes
Secondly, I will still be posting stuff before Egg resumes, though it might not be as frequently, I do draw with friends and for other people so there’s a few good ones piling up, I just need to get round to posting them
And lastly, I’d like to take a sec to say, if your still here, if you’ve stuck around even after my recent inactivity, with no word or warning

I bet your wondering what the excuse this time is?
Well, got a commission I'm working through, socializing, and topping it off with I want to put a smidge bit more effort into the next Egg post means I will have to skip today and possibly tomorrow (try my best for it to not be a tomorrow but you know how these things are)
Anyways, in short, no Egg today, maybe Egg tomorrow, but when Egg does come, its gonna be grand
