myles rose his eyebrow at his daughter, ‘ oh yeah? interesting. well, try to not stay up too late doing that again tomorrow night, okay? ‘

“Oh yeah, thats totally true. We don’t want ya to loose your job or anything.”
‘ yeah, i definitely don’t want to lose my job. that would not be good. ‘

“just alright, for now. everything’s just been really crazy and i can’t keep up,” she shrugged. she smiled when her husband kissed her cheek. “just another case, but i can’t seem to focus on it.”
‘ well, el, i can try and take your mind off it if you want? ‘ he asked, smirking softly. he tilted his head and raised an eyebrow, ‘ maybe it’s time to take a break then? ‘ he whispered.
“Do you care if I chill here for a minute? I had a long night and I’m exhausted.”
' of course I don't mind, charlie. but do tell me what made your night so long? i would love to hear it. ' myles raised an eyebrow.

myles smiled softly at the woman and raised an eyebrow, ‘ just alright? ‘ he tilted his head, ‘ i’m great, now at least. ‘ he smiled at his wife and kissed her on the cheek, ‘ so what are you working on? ‘ he asked.
