I CANT STOP DRAWING THEM!! in my 1909 au, this is probably a couple weeks into javier joining the ranch and john's first time touching him in 10 years.

and then, naturally, back in 1899 and john grew up the little sibling so he obviously fights with just his legs. javier is inhumanely flexible for the sake of art. i think i deserved to shittily doodle them being happy instead of sad. i swear in my au they eventually get happy, THEY'RE NOT DOOMED GUYS!!
