I'm the key figure in an ongoing government charade, a plot to conceal the truth about the existence of extraterrestrials. It's a global conspiracy, actually, with key players in the highest levels of power and it reaches down into the lives of every man, woman, and child on this planet. So, of course, no one believes me. I'm a... I'm an annoyance to my superiors, a joke to my peers. They call me "Spooky." Spooky Mulder, whose sister was abducted by aliens when he was just a kid and now he chases after little green men with a badge and a gun shouting to the heavens or to anyone who will listen that the fix is in, that the sky is falling. And when it hits, it's gonna be the shit storm of all time.

Rewatching one of my fave X-Files episodes….

(Episode 4.10: Paper Hearts)

Written by Vince Gilligan, directed by Rob Bowman. This episode is beautiful and haunting. With an absolutely stellar performance by David Duchovny.

And I don’t think any man has EVER looked more gorgeous in the history of humankind. Unreal.

I mean, LOOK AT THIS MAN. It’s like he invented male beauty. These are just 10 of my favorite screenshots from the episode (not in chronological order). But it was hard to narrow it down to only 10.

I almost want to start it over and watch it again.

Rewatching an X-Files 2-parter….

(Episode 4.8: Tunguska & Episode 4.9: Terma)

These episodes are a bit convoluted but basically Mulder gets cozy with his homoerotic Russian nemesis/boyfriend Krycek and also gets thrown into a Siberian gulag for a while. Classic Mulder.

But don’t worry! He’s still hot the whole time.
