DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY, 1977: For the first time since 1949, three women competed in a NASCAR Cup Series race: Lella Lombardi, Janet Guthrie, and Christine Beckers. The 1977 Firecracker 400 marked the 12th career NASCAR Cup Series start for Guthrie, and the first and only starts for Lombardi and Beckers.
Its so funny to me how Norris and Russell are so bitter towards Max for wanting to retire and go for other racing categories because Formula 1 isn't fun and then you see multiple team bosses from series like Formula E, NASCAR, Nordschleife (they actually moved their schedule at the mere possibility of Max driving in that race) and more publicly asking Max to come and drive their cars and take part in their series because they know that even if he's only there for one race, he'll bring that much exposure to their sport and they'll learn much more about their cars and so much more if they have Max for even one season.
So no matter how many times Norris and Russell try to make Max seem like he's whiny and arrogant for wanting better cars, all these team bosses will always prove them wrong because these guys actually want Max, Toto Wolff would drop Russell in a heartbeat if Max signed with Mercedes, they'll never reach Max's level in this lifetime so all they can do is be bitter.

1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429
The 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 is one of the most revered muscle cars of all time, known for its raw power, aggressive styling, and legendary status. Designed to meet NASCAR homologation requirements, it features the iconic 429ci V8, capable of producing around 375 horsepower and delivering immense torque. With its beefed-up suspension, wide tires, and aerodynamic design, the Boss 429 was built to dominate both on the track and the street. The sleek, aggressive lines of the ‘69 Mustang, combined with the shaker hood scoop and Boss badging, made it a true standout in the pony car wars.
