Turn Your Clocks Forward (Part 2)
Minibug and Kitty Noir get a visit from Bunnix, we all know what that means. Do to a problem in the future, the young heroes must train with their future selves to defeat Hawkmoth.
Got to Chapter One to get the the other side of the story!
Present day (post Miracle Queen)
Chapter 2: Secrets Unlocked
"Gotcha! Bye, bye little butterfly" Ladybug exclaims while setting the now de-evilized akuma free. "Miraculous Ladybug!"
"Goodbye, Bugaboo," Chat Noir purrs to his lady.
"Silly Kitty, I told you not to call me that," Ladybug snickers while turning around to go detransform. Suddenly, she feels a strong grasp on her forearm.
"Cat Noir, I—" Ladybug refuses before being interrupted.
"M'Lady, I don't want to go another day without knowing who you are." Chat Noir chimes .
"Chat Noir, I know but—" Ladybug tries once again this time being hushed by a finger being pressed to her lips.
"Sweet bug, on another day, I would except your refusal," Chat Noir starts, "But lately, there have been so many secrets, not just regarding our identities, but I have realized so much of my life was built on lies and I feel as if all I know is a lie," he continues, before Ladybug can interrupt, "I just need to know one thing, at least one thing, that I know one thing is definite," he sputters, eyes meeting the warm concrete.
"Chat Noir," she inhales, hesitantly, "I—I will."
"You will?" He perks up tears nearly coming to his eyes.
"Tonight, behind the school, by the trees, 6pm sharp." She states firmly.
"Oh, Ladybug!" He cries, no longer holding back his tears, he inhales, pulling himself together, "6pm, sharp." They exchange sweet smiles and are on their way.
"Claws in." Cat Noir states taking on his civilian form. "She did it, she said yes," Adrien dreams turning in his spinny chair.
"Yah, yah, big deal," Plagg states sarcastically. Adrien gives Plagg a deadly stare, but quickly decides to ignore his friend's selfish remarks.
"Spots off" Ladybug states, quickly turning to Tikki. "What if this a mistake? What is this isn't the right day?" Marinette cries, thousands of what ifs flooded her brain.
"Marinette, I believe you are making the right decision," Tikki assured nuzzling her cheek. "You're the guardian now! Whatever you say goes!" Tikki giggles.
"But I'm so scared, Tikki, scared of letting everyone— scared of letting him down" Marinette wallows. Tikki gives her a stern look in the eye, telling Marinette to stop worrying. She receives the message and accepts it.
"AH! It's time already!" Marinette yelps, leaping from her bed. "Tikki, spots on!" She shouts while unlocking the hatch on her window and diving out. She is about to round the corner when she gets a rush of emotions. She stands still for a moment, as if frozen in time, then finally creates the courage to turn to the other side of the building. She sees Chat Noir standing, awaiting her arrival. She makes her way to him and looks him in the eyes, "Are you scared," she asks hands trembling, he notices and grabs hold of them, "Never, as long as I'm with you!" He responds, smiling down at her.
"Okay," she starts, "3, 2, 1,"
"Spots off" "Claws in" they say in unison, eyes closed tightly. She squeezes his hands, ushering him to open his eyes. When they finally do, Adrien looks stunned. Marinette notices and starts crying hysterically.
"I—I'm sorry if I'm a disappointment this is probably not what you were expecting." Marinette sputters, struggling to speak through her tears and her eyes falling to the ground in shame.
"Never," Adrien replies, brushing away her tears. Now, he is also crying, but for a different reason. "You're the lady of my dreams," Adrien continues, smiling wider than before. He brushes her hair behind her ear, still holding her hand in his right, and shifts it down to her chin, slowly tilting it up so that their eyes meet. Then, he follows through, getting closer to her face until finally reaching her lips. They stand, with lips interlocked for a few seconds, when suddenly, a white void explodes open next to them, they quickly pull away, knowing Bunnix will soon exit.
But before she even steps out, they find themselves getting yanked by the arm into her burrow.
"W-what's going on, Bunnix?" Marinette questions, extremely concerned.
"No time to explain, Minibug," she responds hastily.
"Where are we going?" Adrien chimes.
"Prepare yourselves." She vaguely states.
"For what?" The two teens question, starting to get impatient, when suddenly the find themselves in a large kitchen.
"Bunnix." They hear two familiar yet strange voices say harmonacly.
Okie dokie! Here is chapter 2! Sorry for the kinda long wait! School was a little stressful this week!
