I canāt blame you for staring, i would too.
Frosted Petals || Ingrid & JC
āI like winterā Ingrid looked up and smirked to her friend.Ā āItās nice and cold and matches my cold heartā It was nice to see JC, and already with her thoughts away from the phone call, the ice was melting a bit, calming down.Ā āI didnāt take you for a garden personā A few years ago, Ingrid wouldnāt have been either, but being outside was the best way to let her ice out without it disturbing anyone and the gardens were nice.Ā āWhat are you doing out here?ā
JC laughed,Ā āI always figured you had a cold heart but now youāve confirmed it.ā He sat down next to her, and looked at the girl. It was obvious she was worked up about something, but he knew better than to ask about it.Ā āEh, Iām not really a garden person but anything beats being stuck alone in my room with my thoughts.ā He leaned back and looked at the landscape feeling the anger inside him start to fizzle out. He turned to Ingrid, pushed his sunnies up his nose and asked āSo hows life?āĀ
Yeah, but then my parents would call and ask why I stopped calling. I canāt really tell them that talking to my little sister is weird and a little boring. Dunno how theyād take that.
Trust me if you ignore the phone calls, they will stop trying. Or they wonāt try at all. Donāt take it personally.
Frosted Petals || Open
āWhat do you mean?ā Ingrid spat into her phone in loud quick Norwegian. She was pacing by the gardens, a light frost trailing behind her. āWell of course heās not gonna go for her, sheās too offā She paused. āI know I knowā Ingrid shook her head and smiled a little. āUgh I should have seen this coming, heās a regular Hans⦠You know who Hans is come on Britta ⦠I gotta go Iām turning the garden into frost ⦠I donāt know, itās weird ⦠It can be weird if I want it to be weird! ⦠No ⦠Shut up, I love you, byeā Ingrid hung up her phone and sighed, letting herself fall onto one of the stone benches in the garden. āStupid, no good, cheap, crown stealing boyā She muttered, still speaking in Norwegian. Ingrid picked a flower that was next to the bench, sending little frost crystals around the petals.
Jc was walking around the campus, getting use to the feel again. He had just come back from a month at home, and was utterly realieved to be back in this place again. He was angry, he hated his home. He hated those super heros for taking his mother away from him, but most of all he hated the fact that he was tied to that place and couldnāt put it in his past. He pushed his sunglasses up his nose and turned a corner into the gardens, he found a very angry looking Ingrid. He smiled, he had always like this girl so he called out,Ā āCalm down frosty. We donāt need any snow in June, we get enough in the winter.ā He laughed and walked over to her.Ā
Talking to my sister is like talking to a workaholic middle aged lady. Phone calls home are weird.
Just donāt call home then
Iāve decided that I need to start saving up my money for a motorcycle. Yes, I think thatās what I need.
Youād look super hot on one babe.
He doesnāt go here, no. Heās Mr. Perfect back home. Donāt quite think Iād be able to handle him here, too.
I know the feeling. I lived in a town of perfect super heroes, total assholes. All of them.
That was more my brotherās speed than mine.Ā
Whoās your brother? Does he go here?
A Little Party Never Killed Nobody || Jc and Ingrid
āAnd weāre gonna find you a girl alreadyā Ingrid laughed and grabbed JCās arm and dragged him out of the library.Ā
Jc laughed,Ā āFind me a girl? Babe I donāt need help finding a girl, they come to me. Donāt you worry about that.ā He opened the door for Ingrid and then followed behind her. Looking around at the campus, it was obvious that a Tuesday night at Walt wasn't a big party night, he turned to the girlĀ āClubbing?ā He smirked and gestured in the direction of the city.
I can honestly say Iāve never done that before. So.
You havenāt partied before? Jesus kid you havenāt lived.
Youāre not going to find anyone here hotter then me so you might as well just join me.Ā
Letās go thenĀ
What was that for?
Trying to find something interesting to do.
Well you found him -smiles- Iām the most interesting thing here babe
Hereās the deal, you keep studying and Iām gonna go find a party. Then you let me know how the studying went. Great plan, letās do it! See ya!Ā
Who says I was studying? -laughs- Iām just sitting in the library to find hot chicks. -smiles-
Yeah, butā¦Iām pretty sure thereās enough caffeine in my system to keep that from happening for at least two days.
Maybe you should party a bit then? Put that caffeine to good use?
With all the time Iāve spent holed up in my room doing nothing but studying if I donāt ace the exams Iām going to be pissed. My blood is, like, mostly caffeine at this point.
You gotta relax kid
What was that for?
I know.
Lola.
Whats a pretty girl like you doing out alone on a Friday night?
