I was tagged by thyselfthyfoe. Bitch.
The people I tag with my questions are thyselfthyfoe (again 'cause you deserve it you picky whore), scorpine, anaripsa, gorillaprutt and jununy (only if they want to, except for thyselfthyfoe. She has to do it anyway).
Posting it under the cut.
1. Favourite colour?
I would say orange. It doesn't fit me specially, and I don't even like that fruit, but I find something delicious and sweet about that colour, so it stays orange. Also, I can't resist the artificial flavour for orange. Candies and such are my weakness!
2. Favourite videogame?
A really hard choice, but... Skyrim. I spent so so so many hours (more than any game I have played, I believe), and it's a really exciting world, so big. I would play everyday wondering what would happen next, sometimes just exploring, walking around (amazing music and graphics). It has a great gameplay, enemies, abilities... Great people, ingame. Also, in order to play it I created two of my favourite original characters. I got lost in their lore, personalities and psychology, and I love them so damn much.
3. Favourite book?
I think it's Withering Heights. As far as I have read, and in the last times, it is the book I have enjoyed the most. I really liked every single character, the way it is written is very impressive (think it was written so many years ago), and among all the Brontë sisters, I have a special affection for Emily Brontë: I consider she was an interesting and complex individual. I like the way she puts the characters, how everyone is nuts in the story (you can NOT tell me otherwise), everyone is mean and cruel at some point, and violent. It's a fascinating universe for me, and I only regret it didn't last longer!
4. What was your hobbie when you were little? (If you didn’t have any in particular, tell some of them or just what did you do on summers)
Playing with my sisters. We would make up imaginary characters, or think personalities for our toys and just play stories. We were always animals, and sometimes we lay in bed or ran around on our fours like dogs, hyenas, horses... We also would name our plastic toys and plushies, and move them around, acting. I think all that creative work helped us develop the creative potential and imagination we have today, and I am so very glad we didn't fall for the passive hobbies that make (most times) boring and blunt adults out of the children. It also made our bonds tigher, and I am thankful for all that.
Ah, and when I grew up a little I would (kind of) hide myself with a piece of paper and write "hard" words ("mermelada", "cerebro"...). Then I would go to my mother to show her, and would learn a lot. I felt really proud at the time, and had a lot of fun all by myself.
5. Do you sleep with plushies / a plush? With many pillows?
Just ONE pillow! I can't sleep with more, I find it uncomfortable and my neck hurts. I leave all my plushies at the foot of my bed, though I used to sleep with different plushies when I was younger (like really hardcore: I would cry and get anxious if I didn't find them at night).
6. What do you think of tumblr?
I think many of the opinions and the people I have found in this site, all tha fandoms I have joined, movies I have watched, comics I have read, fanart I have seen, have made me grow a lot as a person. It made me take consciousness of a lot of things I think I would still be ignorant about if I hadn't joined, and I have over all learnt a lot. On the other side, there are factions of this site I simply cannot stand: cisphobia, inverse racism... People who make a fuss out of the most simple things, or who think they speak for a collective when they have no idea. It is, I think, the product of a bad understanding of the really important things you can learn here, and it makes me mad, 'cause that people won't reason with anyone, and get super mad and aggressive instead.
7. Explain a nightmare you remember / a dream you had.
Not to mention the dream in which lovely thyselfthyfoe got me killed in a freefall (such an intense sensation, when I woke up my body thought I was actually dying I think??), I had one in which I was half awake half asleep, and I heard the sound of my father stiring a teaspoon in a glass. In my dream there were two old mobsters, one pointing a gun at the other. The one who was being pointed at was laughing because he had poisoned the other man, and even if the other killed him, he would still die. He was laughing at that fact, and the sound of his voice was irritating and maddening for the other. That sound in my dream was the sound of the stiring in my reality, and I felt it piercing my brain like the mobster would have felt it in such a situation. I don't know how it ended, since I woke up moments later. I don't think I made it understandable, but I woke up really surprised and thoughtful the dream.
8. Favourite TV series?
That I have watched from beggining to end, I think Friends. It's just so funny and delicious, so delightful. I adore the 90s fashion and filming, and it's just... legendary. I adore it.
New questions to be answered:
1. What were you really gay for when you were little?
2. Who was your very first anime crush? Who was your biggest love during your weeabo phase ('cause babe, I know you had one)?
3. Which music band/artist/style you never thought you would listen to but ended up listening to anyways?
4. Have you ever cried to a movie, videogame, book...? Which one?
5. What is the thing you never thought you would stop liking but don't like anymore?
going back to school after a break is like when you pause a video game to go pee and when you come back you forget how intense and chaotic everything was when you paused it and the second you unpause it all your enemies collectively punch you in the face
